Job Description
OBJECTIVE:
The Risk Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the Ethic & Compliance Officer to work closely with the business and other functions, facilitating risk management and the conduct of business in a compliant and ethical manner.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Risk Assessment, Monitoring and Corrective Actions
- Enables risk management as part of day-to-day conversations, actively assessing risks and proposing mitigations and/or deep dive for business processes and activities while partnering with business units and functions.
- Support the Head of E&C to conduct monitoring program based on identified risk areas through:
-Walkthrough, sampling and testing of activities, identifies findings and performs root cause analysis with activity owners
-Discussing monitoring results, remediation actions and recurrent issues with E&C Head
-Reporting monitoring results to above country teams - Supports the identification and proposal of potential corrective actions for issues identified, as well as the implementation of agreed corrective actions to evaluate their effectiveness.
- Escalates if gaps or misconduct recur.
Governance
- Support the Head of E&C to coordinate/facilitates Risk Ethics and Compliance Committee (RECC) and relevant sub-committees, including preparation of agendas, summaries, reports, and their respective records management and retention.
- Provides operational support to enable the effective implementation of E&C Programs.
- Supports the continuous improvement of E&C Program, in response to emerging risks, lessons learnt and periodic E&C program assessments when needed.
- Partners with commercial and functional leaders to provide E&C support.

- Supports the implementation of Global E&C Policies.
- Supports the development, maintenance and enhancement of country-specific procedures, guidelines and controls.
- Guides commercial and functional teams through the adoption of E&C policies, procedures and guidelines.
Learning & Engagement
- Support roll-out of global learning and engagement programs to country.
- Supports the design and implementation of country annual E&C training and engagement plan.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Legal, Finance, Accounting or Healthcare related background is a plus
- At least 4-6 years working experience
- Working experience in pharmaceutical, banking or auditing industry is a plus
- Computer literate (MS Office, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Power BI)
- Able to work independently as well as in a team (multi-functional)
- Demonstrates unquestionable integrity and professionalism
- Able to communicate in English both verbal and written
- Well organized and able to prioritize and manage changing workload and meet deadlines
- Highly self-motivated, superior communication and interpersonal skill
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Occasional in-country travel.
