A key element of this strategy was the design of a new way to support its suite of 30 brands globally. The company chose Panama as being best suited to establish its new Global Business Services (GBS) operation center. This new center will initially deliver Finance, Human Resources and Legal services to ELC employees across several geographies and time zones. Through a new innovative service minded approach, this center will redefine service standards globally at ELC. This new GBS team will provide a one-stop-shop solution for the ELC businesses, supported by new customer engagement insights, new systems, and new reporting. In addition to delivering exceptional service to the ELC businesses each day, the GBS team will also be responsible for continuously streamlining work in pursuit of growing its service offering in support of achieving ELC’s strategic and business objectives. Position Overview

The FP&A CAPEX IT Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting the IT Function by providing financial analysis and insights while overseeing IT Capital and Operating Expense charges for business-funded projects, both from internal and external resources. The Analyst is required to ensure alignment with organizational goals and financial objectives by assessing budget for projects, reporting variances, and optimizing financial allocation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Capex Budgeting and Forecasting:

    • Collaborate with IT stakeholders to develop budget and forecasts.
    • Monitor actual expenditures against budgeted amounts and provide variance analysis.
    • Identify risks and opportunities related to spending and communicate findings to management.

2. Process Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities to streamline processes for the IT Function and improve efficiency.
    • Implement best practices related to reporting, allowing management to improve the decision-making process.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of the FP&A CAPEX Tower.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Partner with IT leaders and project managers to ensure alignment between investments and strategic objectives.
    • Collaborate with Finance teams to integrate CAPEX/OPEX reporting with overall financial planning processes.
    • Support internal and external audit requirements related to the IT Function.
    • Work together with the other members of the FP&A CAPEX Tower to enhance the overall budget process and to harmonize reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or local equivalent (ideally Accounting, Business Administration or Finance)
  • <10% Travel Time
  • 1 year of experience
  • Excellent written and spoken English
