Software Engineer - Perception ML Ops

Job Description

Join us at Zoox in a dynamic role where you'll leverage state-of-the-art models to interpret the complex and ever-changing environments of our cities. As a Software Engineer on our Perception team, you'll be crafting advanced workflows to analyze the cutting edge sensor data and contributing to the development of groundbreaking algorithms for segmentation, tracking, classification, and high-level scene understanding. We are in search of engineers who have expertise in developing perception pipelines, adept at processing real data at scale within fast-paced and unpredictable environments.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with programming and algorithm design
• Proficient in Python and C++
• Experience scaling machine learning algorithms
• Experience with machine learning deployment
• Experience handling large data sets efficiently
• Minimum 4 years' experience in a relevant field

Bonus Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in computer science or related field
• Experience with Ray
• Experience with sensor data and 3d representations (pointclouds, meshes, etc.)

Compensation There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary will range from $175,000 to $265,000. A sign-on bonus may be part of a compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
