101 Job Search Sites Job Seekers Actually Use in 2026 (Real Data)
July 21, 2026
Most lists of job search sites are guesses. This one is measured. Job seekers use Huntr to track their search, so we can see which sites they actually find jobs on and what happens after they apply. Between July 2025 and July 2026, Huntr users saved 1,003,118 jobs, submitted 602,260 tracked applications, and logged 29,676 interviews. Every ranking on this page comes from that data.
This page is the full map: 101 job search sites organized by category and region, ordered by how many jobs our users saved from each one. Where a site has at least 500 tracked applications, we also show its interview rate, the share of applications that led to an interview. If you just want the short list of boards that convert best, see the best job boards of 2026, ranked by interview rate. Its rates run lower than the ones on this page because it counts logged interviews over 21 months of data; the ranking order holds in both cuts.

How We Ranked These Job Search Sites
The order within each category reflects saved jobs: how many listings Huntr users clipped from each site over the 12 months. Saves measure popularity, not quality. LinkedIn sits on top because everyone is there, not because it converts best.
Interview rate is the number that matters more. It is the share of tracked applications from a site that reached at least one interview. We only cite it for sites with 500 or more tracked applications. People do not always mark interviews in their tracker, so true rates run somewhat higher everywhere. The comparison between sites is the useful part.
For context, about 4.9% of all applications our users tracked led to an interview, roughly 1 in 20. Our research also shows that resumes tailored to the job description convert at about twice the rate of generic ones. The site you pick matters. What you send through it matters more.
The 10 Most Used Job Search Sites at a Glance
Ranked by jobs saved on Huntr from July 2025 to July 2026:
- LinkedIn: 369,887 saves, 3.4% interview rate
- Indeed: 48,495 saves, 3.4% interview rate
- Hiring.cafe: 7,759 saves
- Glassdoor: 5,866 saves, 2.1% interview rate
- Dice: 5,820 saves, 0.3% interview rate
- elempleo: 5,528 saves, 2.3% interview rate (Colombia)
- ZipRecruiter: 5,287 saves, 1.8% interview rate
- Welcome to the Jungle: 3,423 saves, 4.8% interview rate
- Computrabajo: 2,715 saves, 3.6% interview rate (Latin America)
- Handshake: 2,321 saves, 3.4% interview rate
And the highest interview rates among sites with 500+ tracked applications: GovernmentJobs.com (6.8%), JobStreet (6.5%), Seek (5.3%), Wellfound (5.2%), Welcome to the Jungle (4.8%), and Magneto365 (4.4%). Every one of them beats LinkedIn's 3.4%. That gap is the argument for searching beyond the two biggest boards.
General Job Search Sites
These are the big boards and aggregators that cover every industry. Most job seekers should pick two from this section, then add a niche or regional board from further down the page.
1. LinkedIn

LinkedIn is where our users saved 369,887 jobs this year, more than the next 50 sites combined. It pairs the largest listing volume with the thing no other board has: the people. You can see who posted a role, who works on the team, and who in your network can introduce you. The catch is competition. Tracked applications converted at 3.4%, below our 4.9% all-site average, and Easy Apply is the main reason. Our advice from the data: treat LinkedIn as a networking tool with a job board attached. Apply, then message the poster or a future teammate. A tailored resume plus a human touchpoint is what separates the 3.4% from the rest.
2. Indeed

Indeed is the largest pure job board on the internet and the clear number two in our data with 48,495 saves. It aggregates listings from company career pages and other boards, adds salary estimates and company reviews, and costs nothing. Tracked applications converted at 3.4%, even with LinkedIn. Its strength is filters: salary floor, remote, posting date, and job type all work well. Set an alert for your exact title and apply within the first two days of a posting. Old listings on aggregators are the biggest time sink, so sort by date, not relevance.
3. Glassdoor

Glassdoor drew 5,866 saves on its US site, with thousands more across its country editions listed in the regional sections below. Its job search runs on the same engine as Indeed (both share a parent company), so the listings overlap. What you come here for is the research: employee reviews, salary ranges, and interview questions people actually got asked at that company. Tracked applications converted at 2.1%. Use Glassdoor to decide whether to apply and what to ask for, then apply wherever the listing is freshest.
4. ZipRecruiter

ZipRecruiter logged 5,287 saves. Its pitch is speed: a matching engine that pushes relevant roles to you and a one-click apply that sends your saved resume. That convenience shows up in the numbers. Tracked applications converted at 1.8%, the lowest of the four big general boards. One-click applying with a generic resume is exactly the pattern our data says to avoid. ZipRecruiter works best for mid-level roles at small and mid-size companies, and its mobile app is genuinely good for alerts. Just slow down before you hit apply and match your resume to the posting first.
5. Welcome to the Jungle

Welcome to the Jungle (which absorbed Otta, the curated board many US tech job seekers knew) drew 3,423 saves and converted tracked applications at 4.8%, the best rate of any large general board in our data. The difference is curation. Listings skew toward tech, product, and design roles at companies that fill out rich profiles with team photos, salary info, and culture details. Fewer junk postings means the applications people send are better matched. If you work in or near tech, this belongs in your rotation.
6. Google Jobs

Google Jobs has no saves number here for a simple reason: it is a layer, not a destination. Search "project manager jobs remote" and Google shows a panel that indexes listings from thousands of sites, then hands you to whichever site hosts the posting, so the save credits that site. It deserves this spot anyway. It surfaces listings from small company career pages that never make it to the big boards, and our past research has consistently found it one of the strongest discovery tools. Make it your first search of the day, then apply at the source.
7. SimplyHired

SimplyHired (494 saves) is a clean aggregator in the Indeed family. The listings largely mirror Indeed, so treat it as a second lens on the same inventory. Its salary estimator is handy for benchmarking pay in a specific city before you negotiate.
8. Monster

Monster (211 saves) was the giant of the late 90s and still carries real inventory in administrative, customer service, healthcare support, and operations roles. It is no longer a first stop for most searches, and our numbers reflect that, but for hourly and office support roles it still earns a look.
9. Adzuna

Adzuna (139 saves) is a UK-born aggregator now operating in many countries. Its "ValueMyResume" tool and salary statistics are the standouts, and it is stronger in the UK than the US. Useful as a supplementary search, especially if you are open to roles on both sides of the Atlantic.
10. The Ladders

The Ladders (98 saves) focuses on roles paying $100k and up. The free tier limits how much you can see and apply to, and the paid tier is only worth it if senior corporate roles are your entire search. The salary focus does keep the listing quality high.
11. Jooble

Jooble (88 saves) aggregates listings across dozens of countries and does a good job deduplicating them. It shines for international searches and relocations, where you want one query across several national markets at once.
12. Talent.com

Talent.com (62 saves) is a large international aggregator with a well-known take-home pay calculator. Coverage is broad across North America and Europe. Like most aggregators, sort by date and click through to the original posting before applying.
13. CareerBuilder

CareerBuilder (33 saves) is one of the oldest names in online hiring, and the honest read from our data is that job seekers have mostly moved on. It still lists corporate roles and its resume database still gets recruiter traffic, so posting a resume there costs nothing. We would not build a search around it.
AI-Powered Job Search Platforms
This category barely existed when we first published this list in 2024. It is now the fastest-growing part of our data. One warning applies to all of them: tools that make applying easy also make it easy to apply badly. Volume without tailoring is how you end up in the 1 in 33 conversion bucket instead of the 1 in 17 one.
14. Hiring.cafe
Hiring.cafe (7,759 saves) went from unknown to the third most-saved job board in our data in about a year. It pulls listings straight from company career pages, so postings are fresh and free of reposted junk, and its filters go deeper than any big board: visa sponsorship, benefits, industry, company size, and dozens more. One honest note: tracked applications from it have rarely turned into logged interviews so far (8 of 7,383), a pattern we see wherever people apply in high volume. Use it as the discovery engine it is brilliant at being, then tailor before you apply.
15. Jobright.ai
Jobright (2,103 saves) positions itself as an AI job search copilot. It scores your match against each listing, suggests resume tweaks, and surfaces people at the company who could refer you. Tracked applications converted at 1.7%. The referral-finder is the feature we would lean on: a warm introduction changes your odds more than any matching score.
16. Simplify
Simplify (502 saves) is best known for its browser extension that autofills application forms across Workday, Greenhouse, and other portals, plus a matching feed that skews early-career and tech. Speed is the draw. It is also the risk: of 426 tracked applications from Simplify this year, none were marked as reaching an interview. Autofill the form fields, but never autofill the resume.
17. Jobgether
Jobgether (250 saves) aggregates remote and flexible roles worldwide and scores each one against your profile. Good coverage of European remote-friendly companies that US-centric boards miss.
18. micro1
micro1 (173 saves) flips the process for engineers: you pass one AI-led technical interview, then get matched to multiple companies without re-interviewing from scratch each time. Worth a look for software engineers open to remote contract work.
19. Mercor
Mercor (168 saves) is an AI hiring marketplace that took off with the AI boom itself. Much of its inventory is well-paid contract work training and evaluating AI models, from coding to law to medicine. If you have deep expertise in almost any field, it is one of the more interesting new places to sell it.
20. Swooped
Swooped (118 saves) is a remote-leaning board wrapped in AI resume and cover letter tooling. The listings are solid; just remember the resume advice engine on any board is generic by design. Ours or anyone's tooling works best when you feed it the specific job description.
Tech and Startup Job Boards
21. Dice
Dice (5,820 saves) is the biggest dedicated tech board in the US, with deep filters by language, framework, and clearance level. Now the hard part: tracked applications converted at 0.3%, the weakest rate of any high-volume board on this page. A lot of Dice inventory is staffing-agency contract postings, many of them duplicated or already filled, and applying triggers recruiter calls rather than interviews. It still has value for contract and clearance work. Go in with eyes open and prioritize postings direct from employers.
22. Built In
Built In (1,916 saves, plus several hundred more across its city sites for NYC, Chicago, and LA) covers tech roles with unusually good company profiles: funding, benefits, culture write-ups, and salary ranges. Tracked applications converted at 2.2%. It is especially useful if you want tech work tied to a specific hub city rather than remote-anywhere.
23. Wellfound
Wellfound (1,625 saves), formerly AngelList Talent, is the startup board. Companies must post salary and equity ranges upfront, and applications go straight to founders and hiring managers rather than through an ATS black hole. That directness shows: tracked applications converted at 5.2%, among the best rates in our data. If you want startup work, this plus Work at a Startup should anchor your search.
24. Work at a Startup
Work at a Startup (891 saves) is Y Combinator's own board. One profile lets you apply to hundreds of YC-funded startups, and founders reply directly, often fast. Roles skew engineering-heavy and early-stage. Small equity-heavy teams are not for everyone, but the signal-to-noise here is excellent.
25. Y Combinator company pages
Separate from Work at a Startup, our users saved 201 jobs directly from ycombinator.com listings. Browsing YC's company directory by batch and industry is a good way to find startups before they post anywhere else.
26. Startup.jobs
Startup.jobs (83 saves) aggregates startup roles worldwide, with better international coverage than the US-centric startup boards. A useful complement if you want startup work outside the big US hubs.
Remote Job Boards
27. Remote Rocketship
Remote Rocketship (382 saves) scrapes tens of thousands of remote listings daily and lets you filter by time zone, visa, and seniority. Of 218 tracked applications, 14 reached interviews. Small sample, but a healthy ratio for an aggregator.
28. We Work Remotely
We Work Remotely (196 saves) is one of the oldest and largest remote-only boards. Employers pay real money to post, which keeps scam listings out. Strong in development, design, marketing, and customer support. No account needed to browse.
29. Himalayas
Himalayas (113 saves) pairs remote listings with detailed company profiles showing time zone spread and hiring countries, which saves you from applying to "remote" roles that quietly require US hours from Europe.
30. Ruby on Remote
Ruby on Remote (112 saves) does one thing: remote jobs for Ruby and Rails developers. Hyper-niche boards like this are worth finding for your own stack, whatever it is. Small applicant pools work in your favor.
31. FlexJobs
FlexJobs (106 saves) hand-screens every remote and flexible listing, which eliminates the fake postings that plague free remote boards. It charges a subscription, which is why its save count here understates its usefulness; our count only reflects users who paid to get in. If remote work scams have burned you before, the vetting may be worth the fee.
32. Remotive
Remotive (44 saves) is a curated remote board with an active community and newsletter, strongest in tech roles at remote-first companies.
Job Sites for Students and New Grads
33. Handshake
Handshake (2,321 saves) is the standard for campus recruiting in the US. Employers post roles targeted at specific schools, so a .edu email unlocks listings with far smaller applicant pools than the open web. Tracked applications converted at 3.4%, matching LinkedIn with a fraction of the competition. If you are a student or within a few years of graduating, start here before the big boards.
34. Joinrs
Joinrs (144 saves) serves students and recent grads in Europe, with AI summaries of each listing. Popular with our Italian users.
35. Internshala
Internshala (135 saves) is India's main internship platform, with training programs attached. The default for students in India seeking internships and first roles.
36. Bright Network
Bright Network (115 saves) connects UK students and graduates with internships, graduate schemes, and entry roles at major employers, plus free courses that some UK employers treat as a plus.
37. RippleMatch
RippleMatch (40 saves) flips early-career recruiting: you build one profile and employers reach out to you. Low effort to set up, so it costs little to add alongside Handshake.
Government, Public Sector, and Education Job Sites
Public sector boards are the quiet overachievers of our data. Postings list real salaries, hiring follows published rules, and the top site in this section converts better than any big private board.
38. GovernmentJobs.com
GovernmentJobs.com (1,180 saves) is the front door to most US state, county, and city government hiring. Tracked applications converted at 6.8%, the highest rate of any board on this page with a large sample, twice LinkedIn's rate. Every posting shows the salary range, and civil service rules mean complete applications actually get reviewed. The process is slow and the forms are long. The data says the patience pays.
39. HigherEdJobs
HigherEdJobs (490 saves) covers faculty, administrative, and staff roles at colleges and universities. If you want to work in higher education, this is the dedicated board; the big aggregators only catch a fraction of these postings.
40. MyCareersFuture
MyCareersFuture (286 saves) is Singapore's government-run job portal. Of 151 tracked applications, 33 reached interviews, a small sample but one of the strongest ratios we saw anywhere. Singapore-based job seekers should treat it as a first stop, not a backup.
41. USAJobs
USAJobs (261 saves) is the official portal for US federal hiring. Federal applications are their own craft: resumes run three to five pages, must address the listed qualifications point by point, and go through a rigid scoring process. Do not send the resume you use everywhere else. Read the announcement twice and mirror its language.
42. Find a Job (GOV.UK)
Find a Job (246 saves) is the UK government's official listing service, run by the Department for Work and Pensions. Free, no ads, and covers everything from warehouse shifts to office roles across the UK.
43. SchoolJobs.com
SchoolJobs.com (151 saves) runs on the same platform as GovernmentJobs.com and covers K-12 districts and education agencies: teachers, aides, counselors, administrators, and operations staff.
44. Careers.gov.sg
Careers.gov.sg (127 saves) lists roles across Singapore's public service specifically, complementing the broader MyCareersFuture portal.
45. Civil Service Jobs (UK)
Civil Service Jobs (113 saves) covers the UK civil service. Applications use structured behaviours and success profiles rather than a free-form resume, so study the format before applying.
46. NHS Jobs
NHS Jobs (103 saves) is the official board for the UK's National Health Service, one of the largest employers in the world. Clinical and non-clinical roles alike, with transparent pay bands.
Niche and Industry Job Boards
Niche boards trade volume for fit. Fewer listings, but far fewer competing applicants, and the employers posting there want exactly your background.
47. Idealist
Idealist (746 saves) is the leading board for nonprofit and mission-driven work, plus volunteer roles and internships. Twenty of 263 tracked applications reached interviews, one of the better ratios on this page. Nonprofit hiring values a clear story about why you want the mission, so say so in your materials.
48. CareerCircle
CareerCircle (497 saves) focuses on underrepresented talent and pairs its job listings with free coaching, resume help, and certifications. US-based roles, many remote.
49. EdTech.com
EdTech.com (299 saves) lists roles across education technology companies, from instructional design to engineering and sales. A focused option for educators moving into industry.
50. TeamWork Online
TeamWork Online (254 saves) is the hiring hub for the sports industry: leagues, teams, venues, and agencies. If you want to work in sports, most of those jobs never appear anywhere else.
51. DEJobs
DEJobs (231 saves) is run by the DirectEmployers association, pulling listings straight from member companies' career sites. No middlemen, so postings are current and real.
52. UI/UX Jobs Board
UI/UX Jobs Board (188 saves) does design roles only: product design, UX research, and UI, with remote filters. Lean and current.
53. Dribbble
Dribbble (129 saves) is a design portfolio community with a job board attached. For visual designers, the portfolio is the application; employers browse work first and resumes second.
54. Tech Jobs for Good
Tech Jobs for Good (100 saves) lists tech roles at nonprofits, civic tech organizations, and social enterprises. The overlap of "pays like tech" and "feels like service" is small, and this board maps it.
55. ClearanceJobs
ClearanceJobs (97 saves) serves roles requiring an active US security clearance. If you hold one, you are in one of the tightest talent markets there is, and this board is where that demand concentrates.
56. eFinancialCareers
eFinancialCareers (65 saves) covers banking, asset management, fintech, and quant roles across global financial centers. The standard niche board for front-office finance.
57. Snagajob
Snagajob (25 saves) is the biggest board for hourly and shift work: retail, food service, hospitality, and warehouses, often with fast application turnaround. Our users skew toward salaried roles, which is why its count here understates its reach.
58. myGwork
myGwork (20 saves) connects LGBTQ+ professionals with employers vetted for inclusive policies, across many countries. The vetting is the point: you know the workplace welcomes you before you apply.
Staffing and Recruiting Agency Job Boards
Applying through a staffing firm works differently: a recruiter submits you to their client, often for roles that never hit the public boards. The recruiter is paid by the employer, so their incentive is to place you. Expect a phone call within days if your background fits.
59. Robert Half
Robert Half (352 saves) is the biggest name in specialized staffing, strongest in finance, accounting, administrative, legal, and tech roles, with both contract and permanent placements worldwide.
60. TEKsystems
TEKsystems (186 saves) is one of the largest IT staffing firms in North America. Heavy on contract and contract-to-hire engineering, infrastructure, and support roles.
61. Insight Global
Insight Global (168 saves) staffs across IT, healthcare, finance, and government. Known for fast-moving recruiters; keep your phone on after you apply.
62. Motion Recruitment
Motion Recruitment (146 saves) specializes in tech hiring across major US metros, publishing useful salary guides for developers along the way.
63. Apex Systems
Apex Systems (137 saves) places technology and engineering contractors with large enterprises and government clients across the US.
64. Michael Page
Michael Page (135 saves, mostly through its Colombia site in our data) is a global recruiter covering finance, engineering, marketing, and executive roles across dozens of countries.
65. Randstad
Randstad (108 saves) is one of the largest staffing companies in the world, placing everything from manufacturing and logistics shifts to corporate and IT roles.
66. Kforce
Kforce (103 saves) focuses on technology and finance staffing for US enterprises, with a large remote contractor bench.
UK Job Search Sites
67. Reed
Reed (1,467 saves) is one of the UK's biggest boards, with listings across every sector plus courses and salary tools. A note from our data: the three big UK aggregators all show tracked interview rates under 1% (Reed sits at 0.6%). UK applicants fire off high volumes on these boards, and the numbers say what volume without tailoring earns. Pick fewer roles and match your CV to each posting.
68. Totaljobs
Totaljobs (1,423 saves) covers the full UK market and is part of the same group as several other European boards, so postings sometimes cross-list. Tracked rate: 0.7%. Same advice as Reed: quality over volume.
69. CV-Library
CV-Library (1,413 saves) is a UK independent with a large CV database that recruiters search directly, so keep your uploaded CV current even when you are not actively applying. Tracked rate: 0.4%.
70. Glassdoor UK
Glassdoor UK (843 saves) pairs UK listings with the review and salary data Glassdoor is known for. Its 2.4% tracked rate beats the three UK aggregators above by a wide margin, which supports researching before applying.
Australia and New Zealand Job Sites
71. Seek
Seek (1,805 saves) dominates Australian hiring the way LinkedIn dominates networking. Tracked applications converted at 5.3%, one of the top rates on this entire page. When one board owns a national market, employers post there first and manage those applications seriously. If you are job hunting in Australia, Seek is not optional.
72. Seek NZ
Seek NZ (321 saves) plays the same role in New Zealand. Twelve of 118 tracked applications reached interviews, a small sample pointing the same direction as its Australian sibling.
Canada Job Search Sites
73. Glassdoor Canada
Glassdoor Canada (511 saves) is the Canadian edition, with local listings plus the same company research tools. Canadian job seekers should also lean on LinkedIn and Indeed, which both carry deep Canadian inventory.
74. Job Bank
Job Bank (129 saves) is the Government of Canada's official board. It publishes wage data by occupation and region, and employers hiring foreign workers must post here, which makes it useful for newcomers checking which employers can sponsor.
Latin America Job Search Sites
75. elempleo
elempleo (5,528 saves) is Colombia's leading job board and the sixth most-saved board in our entire dataset. Tracked applications converted at 2.3%. Coverage spans entry-level to executive roles across Colombian industry.
76. Computrabajo
Computrabajo (2,715 saves) is the largest job board network in Latin America, active in most Spanish-speaking countries. Tracked applications converted at 3.6%, above LinkedIn's average. For job seekers in the region, it belongs next to LinkedIn, not behind it.
77. Magneto365
Magneto365 (821 saves) is a fast-growing Colombian platform used by major regional employers. Tracked applications converted at 4.4%, the best rate among the Latin American boards in our data.

81. OCC
OCC (158 saves) is Mexico's largest job board, covering corporate and professional roles nationwide.

Sólides (152 saves) powers hiring at thousands of Brazilian small and mid-size companies, so its listings reach employers the international boards miss.
Europe Job Search Sites
83. HelloWork
HelloWork (869 saves) is France's largest private job platform. Tracked applications converted at 3.6%, the strongest rate among the European national boards in our data.
84. Xing
Xing (466 saves) is the professional network of the German-speaking world. Many German, Austrian, and Swiss recruiters work Xing before LinkedIn, so maintain a profile on both if you target the DACH market.
85. Glassdoor Spain
Glassdoor Spain (315 saves) serves the Spanish market with localized listings and reviews.
86. InfoJobs
InfoJobs (312 saves) is Spain's biggest job board and the default first stop for job seekers there.
87. Just Join IT
Just Join IT (273 saves) is Poland's main tech board, and every listing shows a salary range. Nineteen of 170 tracked applications reached interviews, a strong small-sample showing.

89. Glassdoor Italy

91. Pracuj.pl
Pracuj.pl (185 saves) is Poland's largest general job board, covering every sector beyond the tech roles Just Join IT owns.
92. Jobs.cz
Jobs.cz (136 saves) is the leading Czech job board. Eleven of 73 tracked applications reached interviews, small but notable.
93. Free-Work
Free-Work (108 saves) specializes in French IT roles, both freelance contracts and permanent positions.
94. Arbeitsagentur
Arbeitsagentur (107 saves) is Germany's federal employment agency board, the country's largest single listing source and free of charge.
Asia Job Search Sites
95. JobStreet
JobStreet (689 saves), part of the Seek family, leads in Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines. Tracked applications converted at 6.5%, second only to GovernmentJobs.com among sizable boards on this page. The dominant-national-board pattern shows up again: where employers concentrate, applications get read.
96. Naukri
Naukri (419 saves) is India's largest job board by a wide margin. Recruiters search its resume database heavily, so a complete, keyword-rich profile matters as much as applying.
97. Glints
Glints (244 saves) connects talent across Southeast Asia, strongest for startup and tech roles in Indonesia, Singapore, and Vietnam.
98. Glassdoor Singapore
Glassdoor Singapore (163 saves) rounds out the research toolkit for Singapore's market alongside MyCareersFuture.
Eastern Europe and Central Asia Job Sites
99. hh.ru
hh.ru (356 saves) is the dominant board across Russia and much of Central Asia, covering every industry and level.
100. DOU
DOU (172 saves) is the heart of Ukraine's tech community: jobs, salary surveys, and forums. Twenty-three of 143 tracked applications reached interviews, one of the best ratios in our data. Community boards where employers are members, not just advertisers, tend to punch high.
101. Djinni
Djinni (118 saves) is Ukraine's anonymous matching platform: you post what you do and what you want to earn, and companies pitch you. Fourteen of 82 tracked applications reached interviews. A fitting end to the list, because it inverts everything the first hundred sites assume.
How to Use This List
You do not need 101 job search sites. You need three to five, chosen on purpose:
- One big general board for volume: LinkedIn or Indeed.
- One high-conversion board that fits your target: Wellfound for startups, GovernmentJobs.com for public sector, Welcome to the Jungle for tech, Handshake if you are a student.
- One niche or regional board from this page that matches your field or country.
- Google Jobs plus company career pages for the listings the boards miss.
Then work the numbers in your favor. On our calls with job seekers, we suggest 10 to 20 applications a week, each one tailored to the job description. In our data, tailored resumes convert to interviews at roughly double the rate of generic ones, about 1 in 17 applications instead of 1 in 33. At the average tracked rate of 1 in 20, a focused month of quality applications should produce interviews. If it does not, the fix is usually the resume, not the site.
For a deeper playbook on the nine best sites and the exact way to work each one, see how to pick the right job search sites in 2026.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best job search site?
There is no single best site, but the data gives a real answer by goal. LinkedIn and Indeed have the most jobs. GovernmentJobs.com (6.8%), JobStreet (6.5%), Seek (5.3%), Wellfound (5.2%), and Welcome to the Jungle (4.8%) turn the highest share of applications into interviews. The best site for you is the one where your target employers post and where you can send a tailored application.
How many job search sites should I use?
Three to five. Enough to cover a general board, a high-conversion board, and a niche or regional one, and few enough that you can track every application and follow up. More sites past that point adds duplicate listings, not opportunities.
Are niche job boards better than the big ones?
Often, yes, for interviews per application. Several niche and regional boards in our data convert at two to three times the big boards, because fewer people compete for each listing and the employers posting there want your exact background. The big boards still win on volume. Use both.
Why do so few applications turn into interviews?
Across a million saved jobs, about 1 in 20 tracked applications reached an interview, and job searches average around 90 days. That is the market, not a verdict on you. The levers that move it: apply to fresh postings, tailor your resume to each description, and reach a human at the company when you can. Volume alone does not work; the lowest conversion rates on this page all belong to the easiest places to mass-apply.
Do these job search sites cost anything?
Almost every site on this list is free for job seekers. The exceptions here are FlexJobs, The Ladders' full access, and Catho, which charge subscriptions in exchange for vetting or exclusivity. Employers fund the rest. You should never pay to submit an application.
Conclusion
A million saved jobs point to one conclusion: where you search matters, and how you apply matters more. Pick a handful of sites from this page, favor the ones with high interview rates for your field and region, and put your effort into fewer, better applications. If you want help doing that, sign up for Huntr to tailor your resume to each job and track every application in one place. That tracking is also how the numbers on this page exist.
