Our Finance and Accounting Team supports and collaborates as a strategic partner to clients, partners and all internal departments. The company transacts with partners around the world with an on-the-ground operations teams in San Francisco, Chicago, New York, Atlanta, China, Hong Kong, and Amsterdam. With thousands of shipments in motion over the global, we need a highly motivated Finance Director for the Europe region. You will be a crucial part of decision-making and provide leadership for the Europe region on areas relating to tax, financial reporting, accounting and expansion. You will be an integral part of the leadership team and help navigate the complexities of building an international accounting and finance team.

You will:

• Lead and manage the financial planning and analysis functions for Europe region
• While the in-market accounting, tax and compliance teams will be reporting to the Controller in US headquarters, the Head of Finance Europe will provide site leadership to these teams as the dotted line manager
• Provide finance partnership to the Europe General Manager to formulate strategic and long range business planning to build sustainable growth in Europe as well as to drive daily business forward
• Manage budgeting and financial forecasting for Europe region
• Build analytical capabilities of the FP&A team to provide analysis on financial KPI, business performance, financial modeling and build business case
• Work closely with all local management teams, providing insight, advising business decisions and support through data and financial analysis

You should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA / ACCA qualified
• 8+ years in sr. finance positions in multi-national company with solid track records in building FP&A team on a regional level
• Strong business acumen with strategic thinking mindset
• Experience in working with multi-markets in Europe
• Excellent communication, listening and influencing skills
• Strong command of written and spoken English
• Translation of analytical results into insight and recommending actions to the Executive team
