DescriptionProduct Transfer Scientist to Sustain&Support team
The Sustain & Support team, a division of Product Transfer, acts as the technical partner mainly, but not limited, to Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Materials and Planning. This includes both Swedish and International functions within Cepheid for post-launch assay products.
Sustain & Support leads/coordinates post-launch changes, improvement projects, transfers of assays between manufacturing sites, and supports expansions into new markets. As part of these activities, we solve problems and develop new processes, methods and procedures, assuring manufacturability and continued production of cost-effective high quality products.
In your role as Product Transfer Scientist, you will work with changes that affect Cepheid's products available on the market, and you will have contact areas with many functions within Cepheid, as well as having a very close collaboration with colleagues in the US and other Cepheid sites in the world. You will actively lead, or participate in projects and meeting forums as a representative and “voice” of Product Transfer to ensure compatibility with current manufacturing processes and capabilities, and serve as a technical liaison for other departments. You will also develop and maintain production documentation including procedures, worksheets, and bills of materials.
