Job Description

In this position you will play a key role in pushing the boundaries of our core product. Your responsibilities include creating novel and innovative platforms and consumables to streamline and unify complex multistage biological processes. As a part of our world-class team, your contributions are key to executing our roadmap quickly and getting many products to market. Your products will be used to save people's lives all around the world.

Qualifications

• MSc in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, bioengineering, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of applicable experience, with track record of innovation. Proven product development experience is required.

• Demonstrated hands-on experience in development and manufacture of microfluidic consumables and supporting instrument platforms.

• Strong understanding of practical fluid mechanics, multiphase fluid physics, surface science, and transport phenomena.

• Ideal candidate will have a deep experience in developing, optimizing, and troubleshooting commercial products that support complex biological processes.

• Experience designing and collaborating in SolidWorks.

• Some personal experience with machining and/or CAM is a plus.

• At home in a highly multidisciplinary environment.

• Proactivity (bordering on prescience) and a relentless work ethic leavened by personal skills to generate a personable, highly effective colleague.

• Tenacity to work in a fast-paced team environment with the ability to retain focus and discipline under tight timelines and challenging technical deliverables.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
