Job Description

The Office Manager is responsible for ensuring our environment is comfortable and our employees have what they need to be happy and productive at the office (or remotely). They are the center of the physical office and the face of the company for vendors and guests. They are a crucial member of our small but mighty People Operations team.Yesware is committed to developing a culture that embraces diversity and fosters inclusivity.   • Reception
    • ie Run the front desk, greet guests, collect the mail, etc.
  • Office Supplies, Kitchen, Vendors
    • ie Stock kitchen, groceries, order lunch, etc
  • Company events, outings, meetings
    • ie Plan for parties, event support at the office
  • Facilities planning and support
    • ie Office renovations, expansion, support remote employees, etc
  • IT relationship
    • ie Liaison with InsourceIT for tech and A/V needs
  • Wellness programming
    • ie Meditation, yoga, new class experimentation
  • Sustainability
    • ie Keep the office eco-friendly, reduce waste where possible
  • Billing admin
    • ie Work with Finance Team on depositing customer checks and filing invoices
  • Special Projects
    • ie Continue improving Employee experience, etc.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to work independently -- with guidance and direction, but little micromanaging
  • A sense of humor and the ability to keep a positive attitude
  • Strong prioritization and time management habits
  • Professional demeanor in person, over the phone, and email
  • A willingness to help wherever is needed -- ie no ego
  • A sense of urgency and drive to get things done
  • Creativity, problem-solving skills, resourcefulness
  • Interest in a startup environment
Job Details:
  • Part-time, 20-30 hours/week, flexible hours/schedule
  • $20-$22/hour, plus transportation reimbursement and free daily lunch, not benefits-eligible
  • Start: Jan 2020, with potential part-time work earlier if desired
