Which team will you be part of?

You will be part of Cloudreach’s amazing Security Operations team. They are the brain boxes who advise our customers on security best practice and help support their environments, keeping them safe from security threats as well as manage Cloudreach’s internal security posture.

What will your role be?

The Intern Security Operations Engineer is responsible for maintaining and improving Cloudreach’s security posture across cloud service and infrastructure resources through the identification, investigation, and mitigation of security events.

What are we looking for?

Our inter will have a front seat to some of the most complex infrastructure on public cloud, so first and foremost, we’re looking for people with the right attitude, aptitude, buckets and buckets of potential!

This means our only prerequisites are :

1. Can you solve problems using a bit of code?
2. Do you speak about security to everyone and why it matters?
3. Do you absolutely love learning about new technology!?

Additionally, If you have studied Computing or Cyber Security in a higher education course or have some home coding projects, that would be super!

What you’ll learn:

A lot is the short answer! Over the course of your internship we will be in close contact with our university partners to ensure your learning objectives and the training you receive at Cloudreach go hand in hand. The specific technologies will get stuck into include :

• The most up to date Cyber Security tools & Security best practice
• Public Cloud Technologies like AWS, Azure and GCP
• Some scripting
• Some networking tools
