At WeWork, our mission is to reinvent the way people work through designed space, technology, and community. At a pivotal and exciting time for the company, we’re building our internal brand team to continue developing and expressing WeWork to the world. This mid-level graphic designer will be a key member of a small but influential group. In this role, you’ll tell the story of the WeWork brand across global campaigns, brand systems and templates, and multichannel marketing materials.

About you:

You’re passionate about brand building and simplifying the complex into compelling visuals. You’re very detail-oriented and known for clean execution. You’re a naturally curious, creative problem solver, constantly experimenting and honing your design skills. You have a passion for collaboration and believe in the power of design to encourage and connect people.

Your day-to-day:

  • Collaborate with marketing partners and creative teammates to concept, design, and deliver projects across marketing channels, including: infographics, event material, microsites, emails, sales collateral, presentations, social and editorial assets.
  • Assist on the evolution and roll-out the WeWork brand: including guidelines, visual asset libraries, and global communications templates.
  • Approach all projects through an insightful, audience-first lens, honing your systems and design thinking.
  • Lead personal workflow, schedule, and deadlines.

Job requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience at a creative/branding agency or in-house at a design-led brand. Bonus points for B2B experience
  • A strong, dynamic portfolio showcasing a refined design aesthetic across both print and digital mediums
  • Experience in web and email design, and information design / data visualization. Illustration skills are a plus.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously while not missing a beat
  • Highly collaborative, organized, and a self-starter
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communicator, experienced in addressing creative leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related visual communications field

You are:

  • Proactive to learn – new tools, people, insights, always pushing to understand more about the goals and audience. You’re never shy to ask questions and strive to learn more
  • A lover of typography and interested in the latest design trends in the industry
  • Eager to build best-in-class work that drives impact
  • Excited to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same
  • Ready and willing to go an extra step for your work and your team
  • Very detail-oriented, finding peace in beautiful execution
  • Known for your clean aesthetic and taste in all things design
  • Confident that phenomenal design can tackle complicated problems

Candidates must submit an accurate portfolio in order to be considered for the position.

About WeWork

In 2010, our co-founders Adam Neumann and Miguel McKelvey decided to create something new: a space where people could come to work, and be part of something greater than themselves, a community that brought meaning to their lives. The overwhelming response to that space reiterated our belief that people were ready for a new approach to work and the workplace. This has been borne out over the years, with companies of all shapes and sizes becoming a part of the WeWork community. From a single location in New York, we have expanded to hundreds of locations around the world.
