Senior Workday HCM Analyst

Job Description

Mission

The Senior Workday Analyst will work directly with the Director, People Operations and other team members to implement Workday and provide ongoing strategy and support for the HRIS . This is an exciting opportunity to build the people team systems for one of the fastest growing cloud based companies in history.

This position is located at our San Francisco headquarters.

Outcomes

• Partner with IT system analyst to ensure smooth integrations between Workday and other systems
• Create HRIS roadmap and strategy for future growth and system improvements
• Support organization with custom Workday reporting and dashboard analytics
• Provide functional support for end-users by troubleshooting and resolving system issues as well as collaboration with end users to understand system needs and requirements
• Provide day to day support for Workday production environment; provide support for issues related to HR Systems by investigating problems and developing detailed suggestions for resolution of issues.
• Respond to HRIS data inquiries and requests from system users and provide functional support; Act as a liaison between end users and the technical team members
• Responsible for administrative functions and issue escalation
• Gathers, builds, and tests requirements for various system modules and develops test cases and assists system and UAT testing
• Researches and analyzes impact of future releases/ upgrades and monitors data integrity through routine audits and data validation
• Analyzes processes and workflows to ensure optimal system implementation and identifies and participates in continuous improvement initiatives
• Partners with team members to increase process efficiencies and/or to improve productivity

Competencies

• 5 years of HR systems experience.
• Experience configuring and supporting Workday modules (HCM, Benefits, Talent, Advance Comp, Integrations)
• Experience configuring, customizing, and implementing HCM systems
• Strong functional knowledge of HR processes and demonstrated ability to identify process improvements
• Experience in developing test scripts and executing effective test plans and procedures
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain personal and confidential information
• Strong attention to detail and is able to consistently meet deadlines
• Self-starter and ability to work independently and also collaborate across teams
• U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency required
