We’re looking for a results-oriented VP of Marketing to lead the marketing team at our newly acquired Thinkful subsidiary. Reporting to Chegg’s CMO, the role requires a strategic and operational skill set and will have responsibility for the full marketing funnel at Thinkful. This person will partner closely with Thinkful’s CEO and leadership team as well as the wider Chegg Marketing community to deliver extraordinary growth.
Key Responsibilities:

• Grow awareness, traffic, and enrollment via key digital channels (SEO, Paid Marketing and CRM)
• Drive on the ground student awareness and recruitment as well as employer engagement in 20+ cities via a Community Engagement team
• Guide Thinkful’s overall brand positioning and collaborate closely with product marketing managers to ensure each program offered fits into the larger brand identity, including careful consideration when adding or refining new personas and geographies
• Manage the design/copy team responsible for bringing the brand to life through powerful and effective messaging and visual identity

Key Requirements:

• 15+ years of cross-functional marketing experience: substantial B2C experience is critical, lead generation experience highly preferred
• Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Marketing or equivalent training or work experience
• Demonstrated success in developing B2C marketing strategy and plans while leading teams to execute, report against marketing KPI’s and deliver business results
• Proven ability to lead (or hire for) brand positioning work in collaboration with Product Marketing and design, including community engagement
• Highly analytical mindset with a ROI-focused approach to marketing investment
• Data-driven understands operational risks and identifies plans to mitigate those risks
• Experience with B2C marketing analytics platforms, customer relationship management systems, segmentation and personalization strategies, and digital marketing channels
• Success in building high-performance SEO, SEM, CRM, and content marketing teams to deliver high growth goals
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and create clarity in a fast-paced environment, influence a matrixed organization and external partners to deliver results
