Senior Resource Manager, Workplace

As part of the The Global Workplace Program Management Team, the Resource Project Manager supports budgeting, invoicing, and analysis for Samsara’s Global Workplace and Real Estate. This role will execute global processes, policies and procedures that work in coordination with each vendor and Workplace leadership teams across Samsara’s global offices. Ensuring that existing standards and training is provided on all best practices and SOPs for each assigned project. Proactively identifying training opportunities of existing solutioned processes and procedures for compliance within the team. Working with individuals to develop skills and cohesion. Liaison and continue the communication with the developed working relationships and to support all internal key stakeholders, employees, vendors and other business partners for Samsara.

In this role you will:

• Identify solutions as directed to reduce resources and that are economically in alignment with our company goals.
• Execute existing daily operations and processes while maintaining a focused on the Samsara core values and budget guideline requirements.
• Assist with managing global WP budgets and forecast projections, provide scalable cost effective solutions.
• Support the Sr. Resource PM in projects and WP financial needs. -Implement scalable SOP’s for the Workplace managed roles and operations.
• Support and ensure management tools and vendors continuously help improve team and employee productivity with regards to resource management.
• Continually educate and improve our best practices and program tools.
• As directed, conduct reviews and audit existing service providers and processes to identify more efficient and effective ways they can support the business.
• Ensure baseline compliance standards are completed, including auditing, reporting and evaluations.
• Communicate and train others on standards and Best practices and record report data for analytic review as needed.
• Collaborate to ensure Workplace projects/programs are communicated and effective at a Global level.
• Be responsible to be the POC with FP&A and Accounting on all WP Capex and Opex project cost summaries.
• Manage and continually enhance the Global small and large CAPEX tracker
• Create all PR’s and CO’s for CAPEX buildout.
• Onboard a 3rd party CAPEX software tool that aligns with Samsara’s needs in order to automate the current manual processes for build outs

The ideal candidate will have :

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in finance forecasting, budgeting and accounting
• Medium to proficient in tech writing
• Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Adobe, Excel spreadsheets
• Familiarity with Slack and integrations
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Experience in budgeting and accounting
• Self-motivated and empathetic
• Medium to proficient with Technical computer skills and softwares.
