SUMMARY

Hulu’s Finance team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate Finance who will be an exceptional addition to our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. You will report to the Senior Manager of Corporate FP&A and will play an integral role in helping to drive Hulu’s long- provide business leaders important financial insights to assess and drive business performance. The right person for this role has demonstrated experience in the role and possesses excellent eye for business, strong analytical and communication skills, ability to partner and work cross-functionally in a multi-facet organization, and sets a high bar for him/herself. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Utilize prior FP&A experience to help lead all budgeting and forecasting cycles across Hulu, including but not limited to budget preparation and variance commentary
• Proactively find opportunities for process optimization and work with partners to implement solutions surrounding month end close and other elements of FP&A cycles
• Collaborate with FP&A and Accounting for the monthly month-end close process to provide relevant variance analyses to executives
• Partner with and support business leaders to align their operating and budget requirements and improve forecast accuracy
• Work with cross-functional teams to consistently identify and improve operational efficiencies across both finance and operational departments, particularly as it relates to budgeting and reporting
• Provide support in building presentations for Hulu’s board and Hulu executives
• Develop expertise using our cloud-based financial software Adaptive Insights
• Support ad-hoc analyses and corporate reporting as needed

WHAT TO BRING

• 2 to 4 years of work experience within the FP&A space specifically around financials reporting, close processes, and variance analysis
• BA/BS degree in Finance, Economics, or similar field with an analytical bias
• Strong self-starter with the ability to work autonomously
• Teammate who can work in a cross-functional and dynamic environment
• Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task to deliver on critical deadlines
• Excellent analytical skills and financial reporting experience!
• Strong presence and verbal communication skills, including ability to present to executive-level colleagues

NICE-TO-HAVES

• Media, digital, and/or tech experience ideal but not required
• Experience with cloud-based financial & accounting systems, Workday and Adaptive Insights a plus
