About this Role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Quality Engineer to play a critical role in executing Cohesity’s hardware product quality strategy. Your contributions will accelerate our rapidly growing business.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Product Quality Engineer , you will be working closely within the technical operations team driving continuous improvement initiatives with supplier, factory, test, and field quality. You possess leadership, have a strong bias for action, are passionate for product quality, are able to connect the dots and bring closure to product quality issues. Roles and responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Track and analyze hardware product quality KPI metrics in a fast-paced start up environment for IT infrastructure equipment
• Perform advanced failure analysis to identify issues and drive improvement in the areas of manufacturing, supply chain, test and development teams
• Grasp complex technical matters and present them in a digestible format
• Extensive experience working with OEM/ODM partners in the server and storage space
• Communicate with vendors to address concerns and foster an environment that facilitates collaboration and continuous improvement to reach successful outcomes
• Participate in post product launch efforts and early field failure analysis to perform failure analysis,
• establish root cause and implement corrective and preventive actions to preclude recurrence

• Conduct supplier audits
• Drive continuous improvement in enterprise IT products in the supply chain, EMS and repair centers
• Think outside the box to solve problems and more importantly bring closure

Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
• 10+ years of product quality engineering experience or equivalent
• 3 years of test engineering tools and skills
• 3 years of Linux and scripting experience
• BS in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience
• Ability to travel (up to 20%)
