Join our Berlin team as a Paid Social Performance Marketing Manager and help us change the way language learning is done!

As a Paid Social Performance Marketing Manager you will join a team of highly driven, ambitious, collaborative, analytical and passionate Performance Marketers. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, deploying and scaling cost-effective campaigns across various social channels, strategically developing new ways to promote our language learning product with a special focus on the French- and Italian-speaking markets. You will also be the central figure for the global creative development of the channel together with an agile design team.

You are:

• a competent hands-on marketer who is able to work independently and is experienced with the major paid social channels
• a creative paid social “geek” with great communication skills, who will proactively introduce new creative products and opportunities for the team
• a self-driven and flexible problem solver with a highly collaborative approach

You will:

• implement paid advertising campaigns through social platforms to drive customer acquisition in especially French- and Italian speaking markets across the world
• plan and coordinate high media spending across social media channels - with a special focus on direct response campaigns - but also long-term brand campaigns
• continuously and rigorously A/B test creatives and optimize on conversion rates to improve ROAS, plus share meaningful insights to the wider team
• be the bridge between the channel and the designers (and other members of the marketing team) to brainstorm and create content and assets tailored to the needs of the targeted audience in order to drive efficient customer acquisition for Babbel globally

You have:

• valuable experience as a (Paid Social) Performance Marketing Manager
• a strong domain knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager and a deep understanding of its best practices related to campaign set-up, structure, creative, bidding, ad copy, audience building and landing page testing
• excellent English skills (other languages are a plus, but not a must have)
• an outgoing and collaborative mindset with a sense of humor and desire to have fun!

Nice to have:

• experience working with a subscription service or a mobile app product
• experience with French and/or Italian markets
• strong planning / project management skills, as well as experience with a matrix structure and multiple stakeholder management
