We are looking for JavaScript UI Developers who are motivated to combine the art of design with the science of programming. You will be responsible for implementing the visual elements of our customers’ applications – and programming the behaviors resulting from user interactions. Style, effectiveness and speed will be at the forefront of all that you do.

We will take your core technology knowledge and enhance them further, with Salesforce and Vlocity skills, so that you are seen as an expert in UI development across a range of platforms and devices.

You’ll work in our Accelerated Development Center (ADC) in Raleigh, NC with a team of highly-motivated colleagues – with the opportunity to expand into other roles and career paths as your knowledge and experience increases.

Responsibilities

• Develop new user-facing features for customer implementations
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders in Agile scrum teams

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds
• Basic understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery
• Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS, ReactJS, and Web Components
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues
• Familiarity with JavaScript module loaders, such as Require.js and AMD
• Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Grunt and Gulp.js
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, Jenkins, etc
• Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
