What is the Role?

The Finance Manager is a member of the Commercial finance team. . The Finance Manager will be responsible for partnering with the Sales Leaders across North America to achieve key revenue metrics.

This is a fast paced, high performing team that executes financial planning and analysis for one of the fastest growing businesses within Nielsen Global Media

Role Details: What will I do?

● Sales partnership - provide end-to-end revenue support to the US Commercial leader and the regional Sales Leaders

● Deal strategy - partner with sales teams to structure deals to enable the business to hit revenue goals; the finance manager plays a key role in: (1) pricing, (2) revenue modeling, (3) contract optimization.

● Pricing - manage standardized Global rate cards for product offerings across Video, Music, Sports & Personalization;

● Revenue forecasting - accountable for revenue forecasting for the 5 teams specified above; must work with detailed financial data, lead pipeline discussions, analyze opportunities/risks and communicate in a simple, concise manner to the leadership team.

● Revenue reporting & analysis - conduct weekly revenue review at the customer and product level

● New Contract Setup - prepare product allocations and revenue/billing schedules for new contracts (when applicable) and partner with the contract management team to ensure accurate entry into SAP.

QUALIFICATIONS: Is this for me?

A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field

● 3-5 years’ experience in FP&A, revenue management, finance business partner or related role

Strong understanding of US GAAP & ASC 606 revenue recognition guidelines

● Individual contributor and team player with great communication and interpersonal skills

● Ability to manage projects and initiatives independently with minimal oversight

● Strong organizational skills, close attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

● Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google
