Description
Joining Intuitive Surgical means joining a team dedicated to using technology to benefit patients by improving surgical efficacy and decreasing surgical invasiveness, with patient safety as our highest priority. Eligibility:

Must be concurrently enrolled and returning to an academic program in the fall in an accredited degree-seeking program.

Primary Function of Position:

Engage in a summer-long deep dive into a high-impact strategic topic of interest to Intuitive, as directed by VP Strategy.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Survey market structure, competitive offerings and unmet need for topic of interest.
• Formulate potential solutions and design a process to evaluate those options.
• Present your process, findings and recommendations for discussion with the team.

Qualifications

Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:

• Pursuing an MBA in strategy or operations
• Undergraduate background in life science, engineering or business discipline strongly preferred
• Engineering, medical education, financial and market analysis all good starting points
• 3-5 years related work experience
• Understanding of broad healthcare trends and market structure helpful.
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Commitment: Must be available to work full-time hours, M-F for 10-12 weeks beginning Summer of 2021.
