Sr. Product Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a top Senior Product Manager to join NetApp's Foundational Data Services business unit as a Platform Product Management. You will focus on managing and delivering new ONTAP (AFF/FAS) platforms. You will be the leader of a worldwide, cross-functional team that delivers storage solutions powered by ONTAP, the industry’s leading Hybrid Cloud storage OS.

• Platform strategy, roadmap and business management
• Business case development and ROI analysis for platforms or technologies
• Market analysis, including customer requirements and competitive analysis
• Define and prioritize requirements based on data - highly analytical, strong attention to detail
• Use data analytics to optimize the portfolio and inform investment decisions
• Collaborate with cross functional teams world-wide in Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance and Support to ensure efficient, cost-effective product delivery
• Establish pricing strategy based on competitive pricing and portfolio analysis
• Experience working with Data Center infrastructure (server, storage and networking technologies) required
• Exceptional communication skills, comfortable presenting to executive audiences
• Ability to lead worldwide cross-functional teams and engage stakeholders at different levels of the organization
• Entrepreneurial drive and ability to achieve goals in a fast-paced environment

• At least 5 years’ experience as a Product Manager, with proven success in product planning and delivery
• Technical degree plus MBA preferred
• The position can be based in either of Sunnyvale (CA), Boulder (CO) or RTP (NC)
