Job Summary

As an Android Engineer on our Federal team, you will join a fast paced team and help build cutting edge mobile apps and world class user experiences. But perhaps more importantly, you’ll be contributing to projects that have the potential to positively impact millions of people around the world. This position is highly interactive and demands creative problem solving and fresh thinking every day. Together we will architect fresh mobile-first experiences that solve important problems.

Requirements

  • Use best practices to deliver high quality code; Unit-test code for robustness including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
  • Architect, design, build, deploy and maintain scalable, reusable software
  • Implement new features and optimize existing ones from draft to implementation
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
  • Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies

Candidates can distinguish themselves with the following criteria

  • 5+years experience developing native Android applications
  • Thirst for delivering game-changing products
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • Experience with voice automation SDKs
  • Have at least one app published in the Google Play Store
  • Thorough knowledge & hands on expertise with Android's native library's components
  • Knowledge of the Android SDK performance tools and optimization techniques.
  • Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Kotlin, Java, React, Python
  • Experience working as part of an agile software development team including interaction with a source code repository (GitHub)
  • Exceptional drive and precision
  • Experience with common & popular third party SDKs / Libraries / APIs
  • Firebase knowledge - FCM, Crashlytics, App Distribution, Analytics etc.
  • CI-CD integration - Jenkins, Github Actions, Fastlane, AppCenter
