Title: Security Engineer I

You: You are a Security Engineer or Software Developer who is looking for the opportunity to leverage your skills to become a leader in ensuring the security of a worldwide Enterprise cloud SaaS service. Your responsibilities will extend across all many environments serving Fortune 500 companies and other large enterprises, as well as development, test, and corporate environments.

What we want you to do:

• Secure large deployments in hybrid environments that include Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure
• Be key contributor to our security tools development integration, and operation
• Evaluate and prototype third party security solutions to address security needs
• Apply security assessment tools and processes (such as external/application penetration testing, fuzzing, vulnerability scanners, SIEM, DLP, IDS/IPS, Static Code Analysis, penetration testing tools)
• Keep abreast of current and emerging technologies, develop proactive and reactive strategies to adapt to the evolving security landscape

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of security experience within product development
• BA/BS in computer science, MIS or related degree
• Being proactive, able to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong scripting and/or development skills
• Strong knowledge of cloud, container, desktop, server, application, and network security principles
• Experience and/or knowledge of security for public cloud providers like AWS or Azure
• Experience and/or knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience and/or knowledge of cloud computing and SaaS application models, Unix/Linux

• Ability to independently plan, drive, organize and prioritize tasks, aptitude for critical thinking and intellectual curiosity.
• Great attitude, independent, and takes ownership of all tasks from start to end.
• Collaborative work style; effective communication; cross-functional teamwork.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for building and establishing strong relationships with other teams and key stakeholders, including senior staff, the security team, and senior engineering product leaders
• Highly organized and comfortable working in a rapidly changing and ambitious environment.
• Experience and/or knowledge of information security tools/systems: SIEM, DLP, IDS/IPS, etc.
• Security certifications such as CISSP/GCIH/GPEN a plus
