Primary Responsibilities & Objectives

• Improve and maintain existing automation infrastructure, including test automation framework and integrations, and deliver stable and scalable test automation architecture
• Develop test strategies and plans, and implement procedures to improve quality and stability
• Collaborate with Development and Automation Leads to continuously refactor and improve automation framework and utilities for reusability, stability, and speed
• Responsible for leading code reviews and providing recommendations on how to improve testability of services and applications
• Responsible for incident troubleshooting and leading defect triage sessions
• Responsible for driving technical reviews and quality enhancements
• Coach and train other engineers while promoting quality, innovation, and best practices
• Work in a flexible, agile development environment with rapid release cycles

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or related field
• 8+ years of experience in software development, quality assurance, test automation.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming language s
• Hands-on experience with Java and JavaScript
• Vast experience testing Restful APIs and automating tests with Postman/Newman
• In depth knowledge of Selenium, TestNG, Maven, and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of Codecept/Puppeteer is a plus
• Strong skills in relational and non-relational databases: MSSQL/PostgreSQL, MongoDB or similar
• Must have experience handling automation frameworks, backend API, and UI automation
• Familiarity with logging tools such as Kibana, Splunk, etc.
• Must be able to work effectively with others across multiple teams and with minimal direction
• Possess a good working knowledge of modern QA principles and how they apply to QA methodologies and processes
