Reuters Plus is the commercial advertising team specializing in branded content and custom programs. The team is looking for a strategic, innovative project manager to manage the day to day logistical and production operations for advertiser backed campaigns. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing relationships with our advertiser and agency contacts, internal key stakeholders within multiple Reuters units as well as external vendors and contractors.

About the role

  • Work with the sales team to define, document and manage custom programs, actively planning and executing all phases of the program;
  • Work alongside the internal design and development teams for web-building, media planners and ad ops for custom ad unit creation and execution, coordinate with third party freelance writers, editors, designers, videographers for content creation;
  • Assist with getting social media promotions up and running;
  • Monitor costs and timescales for the successful completion of each project to agreed scope and constraints;
  • Negotiating and committing clients to appropriate deliverables and timelines;
  • Preparing and maintaining project plans/timelines and track activities against the plan;
  • Implement an effective communication plan and operating rhythm, including the provision of regular and accurate reports in coordination with the social media reporting and Adops;
  • Collaborate across teams to evaluate the viability of a custom plan in terms of costs vs profit and maintaining strict margins for all productions

About You:

  • Significant experience in a customer-facing, project management role or other related experience;
  • Knowledge of paid social media planning and execution on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube;
  • Demonstrated project planning and management skills;
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize work to meet timelines;
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources: management, business, and technology contacts;
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills;
  • Effective negotiating, influencing, and conflict resolution skills;
  • Strong analytical and problem solving;

It is a plus if you have:

  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, Trello, Teams, Basecamp etc.
