Your Opportunity

The Sr IT Asset Manager will work within the Service Strategy organization with the primary responsibility to move Asset Managed to a higher level of maturity. This includes continues progress against a current roadmap along with enhancing existing reporting and dashboards as it pertains to value achieved by the Asset Management team. Role will require the ability to impact the Asset Management Life Cycle from the hardware and software perspective while in parallel competing an integration of two separate Asset Management systems.

What you are good at

• Moving Asset Management to a higher level of maturity within the Asset Management Life Cycle processes and reporting across both software and hardware
• Work closely with the Centralized Purchasing and Signing Process team to complete the necessary integrations in support of license availability and reporting
• Lead the efforts on the integration of TD and Schwab Asset Management teams and participate in the synergy efforts by producing license utilization data from both organizations across both hardware and software asset processes.
• Move the team from implementation to ongoing by coordinating efforts and deliverables across all parties who make up the COBIT Asset Process.
• Develop cost savings and cost avoidance opportunities for STS by leveraging license data and using it as input into future purchasing decisions
• Own the annual software attestation process that is in place to ensure appropriate use of managed software licenses and consumption and demand reviews by product owners.
• Complete scheduled POCs that can help deliver of savings opportunities in 2021 through SaaS license management and software reclamation
• Deliver on all scheduled executive license summaries for 2021 and produce a report on all savings/cost avoidance

What you have

• BS in Business Administration, or equivalent work experience leading an Asset Management organization (5 to 7 years)
• A solid understanding of both software and hardware asset management processes and tools
• Prior experience with Asset Management tools and support functions. Examples; Flexera-Flexnet, App Broker and Software Asset Manager. BMC Remedy tools, including hardware module, configuration.
• Knowledge of peripheral technologies that supports Asset Management is desirable. Examples: Nlite and SCCM
• Must have a good understanding of how Asset Management integrates into various other organizations and roles within an IT organization
• Financial services experience a must
• Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to anticipate issues and to design appropriate solutions
• Leverage relationships and insights to successfully influence others. Build authentic and trusted relationships to create alignment and support.
• Highly collaborative; comfortable with debate and willing to challenge the status quo; navigates and activates alignment across organizational silos and upward
