The Proposal Manager is part of the sales organization and works with our customer facing teams to help drive revenue. This role will focus on the management of the proposal intake process, managing timelines and writing proposals for prospective and existing customers. In addition, the role will be responsible for the creation and extension of our RFP library and creation of proposal and RFP best practices. This role will work in a hybrid working environment and can be based in either Toronto or Vancouver

What you'll be doing...

• Lead the proposal process including organization, scheduling and management of proposals.
• Act as project manager to ensure proposals are completed and submitted on time including assigning workload and coordinate resources ac
• ross management, technical and other Visier teams.
• Manage, coordinate and prepare proposal submissions for public and private sector RFPs and other proposals
• Educate the sales teams on the necessary proposal procedures and processes including enhancing the current processes as needed.
• Manage database for proposals including updates to content including but not limited to references, company expertise, technical responses and information security content.
• Create and manage all proposal templates including format, content and technical writing such as methodologies in line with brand standards (where applicable).
• Coordinate with other Visier teams e.g. marketing and legal to ensure proposal support materials are maintained and accurate.
• Responsible for overall quality control on documentation delivered to customers.

What you'll bring to the table...

• Minimum 5 years proposal writing experience (or similar) including direct experience with RFP’s and RFQ’s as well as other forms of tender documents.
• Proven ability to organize, prioritize and manage people and information to create best-in-class documents under pressure: demonstrated ability to quickly change tasks as demands change.
• Strong writing skills in order to create comprehensive correspondence, proposal responses and client presentations.
• Excellent interpersonal and project management skills with an ability to engage, manage, and drive multiple engagements and lead.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex ideas into understandable language.
• Flexibility and resilience and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Detail oriented, innovative and independent thinker with a get it done attitude.
• Experience in enterprise software, human capital and finance is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with Google Suite, ServiceNow and Salesforce an asset.
