If you want to help build a business that impacts tens of millions of people each year and helps them lead better lives, join us!We’re seeking an experienced Director of Product Marketing to join our rapidly growing team. This person will be responsible for leading a team of product marketers to shape and scale our platform. This includes leading efforts to define product-market fit, test and launch new products, and expand our product to new markets. Through close collaboration with product management, UX research, and marketing, you will surface audience insights to inform the product roadmap and build go-to-market campaigns that encourage adoption and ongoing engagement. The ideal candidate brings both B2C and B2B marketing experience and is comfortable operating at both strategic and tactical levels. Additionally, you have experience building trusted relationships with senior product leaders and leveraging insights to build consensus with cross-functional teams. This role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and can either be remote or based out of our NYC headquarters.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own go-to-market launch planning to ensure successful launches for new and existing products and features
  • Partner closely with user research to develop a deeper understanding of our audiences and surface opportunities to product leadership to inform the roadmap
  • Test and launch new products, features, and pricing strategies, in partnership with product management
  • Measure and optimize the impact of new features and go to market campaigns on consumer awareness and retention
  • Define product positioning, segmentation, packaging, and go-to-market strategies that ensure the product maintains a differentiated position in the market
  • Partner with channel marketers, integrated marketing, creative, and sales to build and optimize adoption and engagement programs
  • Lead complex cross-functional teams to execute marketing programs at scale
  • Act as a player-coach to manage and develop a team of product marketers
  • Define and socialize the role of product marketing across the company

What You’ll Need:

  • 8+ years of marketing experience, including 4+ years of product marketing experience, 2+ years of B2B experience, and 3+ years of management experience. Experience with consumer technology or SaaS businesses preferred.
  • Experience working with experimentation and optimization tools to test new products, pricing, and positioning
  • Experience leading the strategy and execution of product launches and cross-functional GTM campaigns
  • Innovative thinker and fast learner with excellent problem-solving and prioritization skills
  • Strong analytical skills, including familiarity and understanding of Looker, Google Analytics, or other similar tools. Fluency with data, including market sizing, forecasting, and campaign measurement.
  • Experience articulating the essence of products and the value they create. You can develop strong product positioning and messaging strategies.
  • Strong empathy for the end user. Obsession with understanding user needs and insights
  • Experience developing personas, segmentation, and audience targeting strategies
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative user research, including synthesizing research output and leveraging insights to influence strategy
  • Extremely strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally with a variety of partners

  • Previous subscription, SaaS, or edtech experience
  • Strong B2B or international experience
