Job Description

Insightly CRM is seeking a highly organized and motivated Engineering Manager to join our fast-growing company.
Well qualified candidates will have experience in leadership, be self-driven, have a passion to solve complex problems, be a quick learner with willingness to flex into new areas, and have strong relationship building skills.

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to take ownership of the entire web application development, strategy, and roadmap.

In this role, you will serve as a web technology leader within the company. You and your team will design, develop, maintain Insightly’s web applications and build a first-class web engineering team.

This is a very hands-on position. You will be working closely with a smart and collaborative team that is developing highly scalable cloud based Saas applications for medium to enterprise businesses.

Essential Job Functions (or “Job Duties”)

• Work with a geographically distributed team with different cultures and handle daily work in multiple threads
• Collaborate and work with our engineering team in an Agile environment
• Planning and designing effective and elegant solutions to support a rapidly growing customer base. (millions of users)
• Full ownership of entire engineering stack required to deliver features and results to business stakeholders and customers
• Establish good engineering practices.
• Build and deliver the next generation of Web applications in our unified platform.
• Mentor and build the team required to successfully expand the product portfolio.
• Able to challenge the “way-of-things”, to think unconventionally and offer new perspectives and approaches, to continuously optimize traditional processes and procedures and drive innovation

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working in software development
• 3+ years of management experience
• Proven track record of architecting, building, and delivering web applications
• Strong experience working with large, high volume SaaS infrastructures
• Good eye for elegant u/x designs and patterns applicable
• BS in Computer Science and/or equivalent experience.
• Shown strength in the position of leadership. Ability to mobilize, encourage, and lead teams without direct management authority

​​The salary range for this role in Colorado is $165,000 to $185,000 and final offers are determined using multiple factors including experience and level of expertise. For all other locations, the salary range may vary by geographic market and will be determined through the selection and assessment process for this role relative to your experience and our job qualifications.
