At 1stDibs, our supply refers to the sellers on our platform. We are seeking a Sales Associate to support both the Seller Acquisition team and the overall Supply Team at 1stDibs. In this role, you will be working closely with our Sales Executives to provide support in their initiatives to optimize and increase the overall acquisition of sellers. You will also act as the initial sales contact for all inbound leads and will be responsible for introducing 1stDibs, pitching our value proposition, and ultimately signing them to our platform. A successful candidate in this role will be a motivated self-starter who is highly organized, strategic, creative, and works with a collaborative, team-focused mindset.

What you'll do:

  • Work collaboratively with the Sales Executives to assist and provide overall support within the Supply team’s initiatives to grow seller acquisition onto the platform
  • Act as the first sales point of contact for all inbound leads and converting them efficiently and effectively
  • Bring new sellers onto the 1stDibs marketplace & regularly achieve quarterly targets
  • Manage and refine a pipeline of potential sellers and report on progress
  • Provide and report on insights that impact the overall seller acquisition pipeline
  • Participate and provide support in ad hoc initiatives that impact overall the overall Supply team and company as a whole

What you'll bring:

  • 2-3 years of professional experience, with 1-2 years of business development or sales experience, preferably in fine art, auctions, antiques, and/or luxury markets
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills, along with a high level of organization and attention to detail
  • Creative, analytical, and strategic thinker that is solutions-oriented and willing to help with unanticipated needs
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment autonomously and to navigate ambiguity
  • Comfort in & willingness to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient knowledge of Salesforce and Google Suite
  • Background with luxury e-commerce experience is a plus

Nice-to-have:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experience with Looker and/or other Business Intelligence tools preferred
