Whether it’s our personalized daily vitamin packs and powders through our direct-to-consumer business, or our multivitamins and blends with our retail partner Target, our products are backed by science and include a combination of highly-researched nutrients and traditionally used herbs. Since our launch in 2016, we have raised capital from top investors including Goldman Sachs Investment Partners, Goodwater Capital, Tusk Ventures, RRE Capital, Juxtapose, and Bayer. In late 2020, Bayer secured additional investment in Care/of giving it majority ownership. By joining forces with Bayer, we are able to expand our ability to connect directly with new and existing customers and elevate our unwavering commitment to science-backed guidance, quality ingredients, and sustainable practices.

What you’ll do:

We’re looking for a Brand Coordinator to support our Brand team, and contribute to the efforts of our Growth Marketing, Paid Endorser, and Creative teams. You will play an important role in Care/of’s brand and marketing initiatives, working across channels (both owned and paid), and tapping into a range of projects from long-term product launches to daily project management tasks. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and speed to execution are essential, as well as an eye for what makes our brand and creative resonate with our customers. This role reports into our Brand Manager.

  • Paid Endorser
    • Protect and strengthen the brand as the reviewer for all Paid Endorser content, including social media posts and podcast ads to promote strong, cohesive content
  • Social & Community
    • Support Social Media Specialist in community-building efforts, identifying potential partners and pushing forward outbound conversations with individuals and brands
    • Source UGC from tags and stories
    • Collaborate with Social Media Specialist to brainstorm content for owned channels, specifically Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest
  • Everything else!
    • Track trends and seek new inspiration to help us better tell our owned brand stories
    • Work with our regulatory team on vetting and approvals
    • Support brand tracking, message testing, and other forms of user research to strengthen brand & customer strategy
    • Project manage and/or execute on brand and creative processes, so we can smoothly bring to life visual and verbal communications, including packaging, swag, collateral, and more
    • Support PR efforts, including sampling and award submission drafts
    • Jump on any and all day-to-day activities and projects, both long- and short-term, as they arise

Where you'll be:

We are encouraging employees (whose job responsibilities allow) to work remotely with the option of returning to the office. We are committed to prioritizing workspace flexibility by building systems to create an inclusive and productive environment in which employees feel most comfortable working (role permitting).

This role will require you to be based in the NYC metropolitan area. You will be expected to come into our New York City office at least once a month, and you are welcome to go in as often as you would like.

Who you are:

A detail-oriented brand enthusiast with a strong work ethic, ability to juggle multiple workstreams and projects, and an eagerness to learn and contribute cross-functionally.

  • 1+ years of work experience (internships, part-time, or full-time work) in an office setting
  • Familiarity with digital tools including the Google Suite (Calendar, Gmail, Docs, Slides and Sheets), Slack or a similar chat system, and social media sites including Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • A team player who believes no task is too large or small
  • A true love of brand storytelling and an ability to see past traditional product launch press releases
  • Highly organized with the ability to juggle tasks
  • A love for brand work and/or health and wellness
