YOUR MISSION

As the Customer Reference Manager at Tray.io, you will tell the world about our automation platform and then evangelize the success of our 700+ customers. As part of this role, you’ll help our customers’ stories shine across our website, video, print, email, webinars, and at events. You’ll develop customer relationships, manage our internal stakeholders, manage and build our reference program, review site strategy, and engage, educate, and inspire our customer community and prospects to do incredible work with automation.

Critical criteria for the role include the ability to tell stories via multiple mediums, drive references, own and manage projects end-to-end, and partner with our social media team to tell customer stories across our social media platforms. You will partner with Sales, Account Management, Community and Customer Success teams to launch customer reference campaigns across digital and in-person channels.

What you will do:

  • Partner with key stakeholders across Sales and Marketing to develop customer marketing reference campaigns that connect sales with customers and help them grow our customer base
  • Help us tell our customer’s stories by owning, writing, and creating dynamic video content throughout our digital presence
  • Lead marketing efforts across our reference channels including with dynamic customer content across a variety of channels including video, email, virtual and live events
  • Collaborate with regional marketing teams to help us execute customer campaigns
  • Continually measure, monitor, and drive improvement in our programs; employ industry best practices and look for opportunities to increase efficiency
  • Own our third-party review site presence and manage our customer reviews there
  • Present regularly on program performance and learnings to key stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for leverage and scale initiatives across customer programs

About You:

  • Have 2 or more years experience in a customer-facing marketing role
  • Strong ability to analyze and package qualitative and quantitative data into compelling stories that drive engagement
  • Experience with CRM systems, marketing automation, and email marketing platforms
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate data-driven recommendations simply and effectively
  • Ability to successfully prioritize, balance multiple projects, and manage complex workstreams while consistently delivering results
  • Scrappy, ‘team player’ mentality, with a strong ability and interest in both thinking strategically and living in the details of execution
  • Ability to work with Account Management & Sales teams. Direct Sales experience or prior experience working with Sales leadership is not required, but a nice bonus
  • Excellent project management skills to keep the campaign train on schedule
  • 2+ years experience managing customer references as part of a B2B marketing team
