What We Are Looking For

  • Own the entire SMS strategy, working collaboratively within the lifecycle team, as well as with cross-functional teams such as Creative, Data, Content and Design
  • Responsible for forecast and business goals as well as regular reporting to senior leadership on progress against engagement and retention goals
  • Collaborate with the email team to align the audience experience between email & SMS to create better customer experiences and increased engagement/conversion
  • Develop targeted strategies for different SMS audience segments, as we'll test for potential new segments
  • Drive SMS opt-in growth through both internal and external (partner) marketing campaigns
  • Create and test new methods to reduce opt-outs from the welcome process, campaign messages, and journey messages
  • Optimize existing SMS automated journeys and test into new journeys
  • Manage campaign setup, QA, tracking, execution, testing, delivery, and analysis of all SMS programming
  • Stay informed of new SMS product developments and be an early adopter of testing new SMS platform features
  • Own the triggered email experience, rapidly testing and implementing behaviorally triggered emails that lift conversion and revenue
  • Work closely with the lifecycle marketing manager to help plan, test, and implement new drip email campaigns that increase conversion by being highly targeted and relevant to the customer

  • Experience building & managing SMS and Email lifecycle programs to enhance and deliver the best experience for our customers

  • Demonstrated ability to lead with an analytical mindset; can synthesize data into actionable insights & communicate recommendations to leadership
  • You enjoy coming up with new ideas and can easily explain your rationale in a business sense (experience in making business cases)

Who You Are

  • 6+ years of SMS, email marketing, or lifecycle marketing experience
  • 3+ years of experience developing SMS and/or triggered email strategies and implementing them successfully
  • 2+ years of experience analyzing sms and email marketing data to identify opportunities or issues, plus solve for them.
  • Experience executing comprehensive list segmentation, lifecycle drip automations and triggered events within SMS & email platforms.
  • Stellar project and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced atmosphere
  • Excellent data analysis skills and experience with Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Sharp attention to detail
  • Highly curious, motivated, proactive, and adaptable to a fluid environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Business Analytics, or related field preferred
