About The Role & Team

We’re building an iconic company which will transform the market, and we're looking for the right Communications and Marketing leader to join us in our journey of helping companies build better products. This key executive is a natural storyteller who will help Amplitude lead our category and raise our profile in the market.

As VP of Communications & Corporate Marketing, you will:

  • Lead the global communications strategy and programs across both external and internal stakeholders to articulate our company and market vision.
  • Be a storyteller for the brand: create unique and compelling company, category and product/technology narratives to elevate our brand in the market.
  • Design a brand voice and identity that will help build awareness and affinity.
  • Lead the content marketing engine to help deliver consistent and impactful assets across all teams, surfaces, programs and touchpoints.
  • Be responsible for the global communications team spanning global Analyst and Public Relations, Editorial, Social Media, Internal Communications and Customer Advocacy programs. This includes leading AR and PR agency management around the globe.
  • Lead the Global Events team to deliver our marquee global user conference Amplify and roadshows, along with critical internal and 3rd party events.
  • Work seamlessly across functions as needed to define communications & corporate programs which tell and showcase our company story from all angles, build compelling and data-driven content and unleash the voice of our customers to the market.

You'll be a great addition to the team if you have:

  • 15+ years of experience working in Comms & Marketing; experience leading Communications & Corporate marketing functions globally for high-growth software companies.
  • 10+ years experience leading and growing teams.
  • A unique POV: you are a storyteller and always strive to ‘cut above the noise’.
  • A drive for execution with strong autonomy and accountability.
  • An amazing way with words and concepts, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to translate technical concepts into business and human level narratives.
  • A sense of urgency and a passion for creating enduring brands and experiences.
