What will you be doing?

Funding Circle seeks a smart, collaborative, and motivated leader to manage cross-partner strategy and operations to rapidly scale the amount of small businesses we serve through partners and expand partner relationships. Reporting directly to the General Manager, Partnerships, the role has broad scope and will help shape and drive the execution of our growth strategy, working closely with and leading cross-functional teams. This role requires a combination of strategy, execution, and customer-centricity to deliver on our business goals.

• Gain a deep understanding of Funding Circle’s business, from our long-term strategy and short-term operating plan, partner relationships, and to day-to-day activities across multiple teams.
• Gain a deep understanding of the small business lending industry as a whole and apply those insights to growing FC’s business.
• Work with the GM and Partner Relationship Managers to build out and communicate the partner strategy and executional plan, with input and buy in from cross functional teams (e.g. product, risk, engineering, marketing, finance)
• Set and track milestones and deliverables for the executional plan and critical projects that impact our business goals using agreed metrics, leading and participating in cross-functional teams to do so
• Streamline, improve, and manage the processes we use to find, onboard, and serve our partners.
• Manage the Funding Circle Marketplace, including optimization, processes, and reporting.
• Develop an ongoing, programmatic communications program for partners that will keep them informed of change, refresh their knowledge of FC and our products, and provide value added insights.
• Work closely with our finance team to build business cases, forecast partner volume, and bring together a bottoms up operating budget for 2024.
• Encourage a culture of openness and inclusivity that helps teams collaborate effectively to achieve our overall business goals.

Are you?

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; MBA an advantage, but not required.
• Minimum 7 years of experience across high-growth companies in high-impact, fast paced environments working directly with partners or in partner operations.
• Ability to analyze large volumes of data, derive insights, and make strong, data-driven arguments.
• Proven track record of developing strategies, delivering results, and making a positive impact on a business.
• A customer centric, entrepreneurial mindset and a keen sense for discovering valuable opportunities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient with Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Slides.
• Experience in the fintech industry or working with SMBs is a plus.

*Colorado Only* Base Salary range of $140,000 to $166,000 + annual bonus + annual equity + benefits
