This role sits within “Corporate Functions”. The engine of Funding Circle - we keep the business running. Whatever the discipline, we turn dreams into reality and help small businesses to win.

What will you be doing?

As Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst, you will be a key member of the FP&A team reporting to the FP&A Manager. The role will be responsible for helping develop the Funding Circle financial plans (budget and forecast), delivering insightful financial analysis and interacting with key stakeholders across all areas of the business. • Assist in developing annual budget and forecast plans, including coordinating with stakeholders, providing inputs, and preparing relevant deliverables including presentations and key analysis
• Engage with business partners and functional teams across the company to understand their numbers and the underlying drivers of the business.
• Develop and manage financial models, able to prepare scenario analyses and driver based modeling and recommend action based on outputs
• Produce data analytics to trend analysis and provide guidance on insights for product, pricing and other business decisions and to ensure alignment with top line growth expectations.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure and support the month end close variance analysis for actual vs budget
• Prepare analysis and support for strategic business initiatives, including assumptions testing, scenario modeling and decision support
• Coordinate budget, forecast and financial reporting with the Group Finance team in London.
• Operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that is constantly evolving

Are you?

• Able to build robust financial models and possess advanced Excel & financial modeling skills
• Fast learner, able to understand the company’s business model and key performance drivers
• Solid grasp of accounting, forecasting, and management reporting principles
• Strong written and oral communication, skilled in presentation and project management, and excellent attention to detail
• 4+ years of experience in working Finance or FP&A
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or relevant field

*Colorado Only* Base Salary range of $80,000 to $105,000 + benefits
