Planned Parenthood Action Fund is an independent, nonpartisan, not-for-profit membership organization formed as the advocacy and political arm of Planned Parenthood Federation of America. The Action Fund engages in educational, advocacy, and electoral activity, including grassroots organizing, legislative advocacy, and voter education. Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) and Planned Parenthood Action Fund (PPAF) seek a Program Manager, Digital Products Operations. This job reports to the Director of Operations, Digital Products in the Global Strategy and Innovation of PPFA. About the Digital Products team: The Planned Parenthood Digital Products team provides reliable and scalable applications and technology programs and services supporting health care delivery, sex education, advocacy, fundraising, and internal operations. Digital Products is part of the Global Strategy and Innovation (GSI) division at PPFA.
About this role: The Bilingual Program Manager, DP Operations, will be responsible for supporting the program management functions on the Digital Products Team, including supporting operational processes, affiliate engagement, and spanish language products & chatea/textea programs across DP. The program manager will also support DP affiliate relationships by supporting the implementation of communications and feedback structures.
Purpose: The Bilingual Program Manager, DP Operations, will contribute, analyze and support the planning, communications and management of the DP operational portfolio with the goal of optimizing impact and delivery across programs, specifically Operations, Affiliate Engagement, and Spanish Language Chatea/Textea sub-teams.
Delivery: ●Advise on optimal organization/delivery of programs, identifying issues that affect capacity to meet program deliverables and deadlines by developing and implementing strategies that improve quality and experience for key target audiences within sexual and reproductive health. ●Develop work plans and manage projects within and across Operations, Affiliate Engagement, and Spanish Language Chatea/Textea sub-teams to ensure timely delivery ●Manage the training program for Chatea/Textea live educators, including initial onboarding training, booster training, and training on new topics with an emphasis on strategies that help users move toward coming into health centers for needed services. ●Analyze and monitor new content requests across programs to support the Content team. Includes contribution to the creation and implementation of new language and digital content across platforms with guidance from Medical Standards & Guidelines. ●Utilize subject matter expertise to gather insights from affiliates and shape direct user research for sexual and reproductive health education, and increase users, conversations, and satisfaction among English and Spanish Digital Product tools (OAS, PPO, Spot On, Chatea/Textea, Learn Pages). ●Collaborate cross-departmentally to advance the organization's overall engagement with Spanish-speaking communities. ●Provide real-time educator staff support and intervention implementation on Chatea/Textea, with occasional need for after-hours or weekend support for escalations. ●Manage the organization, processing, and delivery of program invoices for vendors, contractors, and affiliate grant programs. ●Organize and track the progress of Digital Products contract management process. This includes managing vendor resources and documentation for NDAs, new partner intake, and RFP preparation and execution. ●Gather and collate data and information needed for reporting on programs and products within DP.
Engagement: ●Advise on optimal organization/delivery of programs for Operations, Affiliate Engagement and Spanish Language product/chat sub-teams, identifying issues that affect capacity to meet client needs; ●Collaborate with affiliate partners to provide technical and communication support on programs. ●Communicate project/service process and status to ensure coordination and clarity in expectations ●Collaborator on digital Latnix strategy teams. ●Assistance, facilitation, and task management of educators, mentors, peers and more senior team members across PPFA.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs): ● Four years of related work experience ●Ability to recognize and respond to problems with potential solutions in a highly professional, confidential and sensitive manner. ●Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects in a highly matrixed environment. ●Awareness and understanding of the latest technology and innovation trends and ability to provide program management to technology projects. ●Strong interpersonal skills. ●Self-directed and can work alone or in a team. ●Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly with a dynamic, fast-moving team, completing multiple tasks with poise, accuracy, and confidence. ●Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills ●Strong oral and written communication skills ●High proficiency in Google products ●Flexibility and ability to adapt to quickly changing priorities and ambiguous situations ●Commitment to PPFA’s mission and diversity, equity, and inclusion, particularly surrounding race equity ●A deep commitment to Planned Parenthood’s mission of promoting Sexual and Reproductive Health ●Ability to handle stressful situations with ease. ●Fluency in Spanish required. ●Knowledge of diverse groups, working within a multicultural workforce, and sensitivity and appreciation to cultural differences. ●Previous Planned Parenthood affiliate experience a plus
Travel: 5% $100,000 - $108,000 a year Total offer package to include generous vacation + sick leave + paid holidays, individual/family provided medical, dental and vision benefits effective day 1, life insurance, short/long term disability, paid family leave and 401k.
