We are looking for a Curriculum Development Specialist to join our global Education team located on the East Coast - Remote, reporting to the senior manager of technical education. In this role, you will develop and deliver technical training content for our networking and cybersecurity products. This position requires close collaboration with education, product management, and engineering teams to ensure comprehensive and accurate training materials. Your primary goal is to become an expert in our emerging products, learning the ins and outs and teaching their uses to our customers, partners, and employees.
You are the ideal candidate if you perform well under pressure, have good listening and problem-solving skills, and think on your feet. This is an exciting role on a fast-paced education team that requires an energetic, innovative, and customer-centric individual.
What you’ll do:
- Work closely with education, product management, and engineering teams to understand new products and technologies
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in our networking and cybersecurity products
- Create detailed and engaging technical training materials, including manuals, guides, presentations, and online courses
- Conduct training sessions for internal teams, partners, and customers, both in-person and virtually, travelling globally up to 25%
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary improvements
- Serve as a technical resource and advisor for the education and training department
- Continuously update training content to reflect product updates and industry trends
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in network and cybersecurity technology, with a focus on technical training and education
- Solid understanding of network and cybersecurity concepts, protocols, and technologies
- Proven experience in developing and delivering technical training content for global audiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely
- Highly organized, priority-driven, and comfortable with ambiguity and rapid changes, working with a sense of urgency in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing industry trends
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
What success looks like:
After six months, you will...
- Successfully develop at least three comprehensive technical training modules for our networking and cybersecurity products
- Establish strong working relationships with key education, product management, and engineering team members
- Participate in cross-functional meetings or projects to provide technical expertise and support
- Become the go-to person in Education for one of Infoblox’s product suites
After about a year, you will...
- Regularly update and enhance training materials to reflect product updates and industry trends
- Implement customer feedback to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of the training programs
- Expand your knowledge of other Infoblox product areas and become a backup SME for at least one additional product suite
