Position Description:

We are seeking a Business Analyst (Information Systems) to join our CGI team!
The preferred role for this position is near the client site in Salt Lake City, UT; however, for the right candidate remote will be considered.
You will support our Sales, Marketing, Support, Service, and Finance users within the framework of our SAP ERP ecosystem, with a focus on SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) as well as some topics touching SAP FI (Financial Accounting), SAP CO (Controlling), SAP MM (Materials Management), and SAP SCM (Supply Chain Management).
Responsible for managing incidents and minimizing the risk of business interruption.
Drive the continuous improvement of existing or new solutions and processes at each step of the solution development cycle (analysis, design, configuration, development, testing, implementation).
Requires good communication skills to interact with multiple teams and stakeholders, excellent analytical skills to provide problem-solving solutions, and a solid knowledge of relevant business processes and their integration with SAP systems.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Monitor Business systems and maintain data necessary for proper operation
• Troubleshoot incidents and provide guidance to end-users
• Identify and discuss improvement opportunities in business operations and processes
• Translate business requirements to technical specifications
• Design and build solutions by configuring the system and coordinating with cross-
functional and technical teams
• Identify the business scenarios for testing and prepare the test scripts
• Perform unit and integration testing
• Support UAT/validation testing and get needed sign off from business key stakeholders
• Prepare Production cutover plan and execute the cutover tasks
• Deploy the solution into Production
• Provide training documentation to key users
• Ensure successful adoption of new software applications
• Contribute to local and global projects
• Build strong relationships with business partners
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

What you'll bring


• Minimum 5 years of relevant Business Analyst experience with specific business domain as defined by role required
• BS degree in Computer Science, IS, IT or related field and/or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of SAP modules: SAP Sales and Distribution - required, SAP Supply Chain Management - preferred; SAP Financial Accounting, SAP Controlling, SAP Materials Management - desired
• Ability to handle business and customer escalations and urgent production issues
• Proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to analyze support requests, business processes and data flows across a complex systems landscape
• Successful contribution to global IS projects
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong organization skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Continuous learning attitude

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $78,400 - $137,100.”
