Position Description:

Join our team as a Software Systems Analyst, where you'll play a pivotal role in formulating and defining system scope and objectives. You'll devise and modify procedures to tackle complex problems, taking into account computer equipment capacity, operating time, and desired results. Your expertise will be crucial in preparing detailed specifications for programs and providing support in the design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of new software and enhancements to existing applications.
This position is located in our USA VA Fort Belvoir -- USAVAFOR1 office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. "Preferred work location is one of our CGI offices in the Northern Capital Region; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. Personnel shall be available to periodically support meetings at (Fort Belvoir, VA) or other places of performance in the Washington, DC metropolitan area."

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Formulates/defines system scope and objectives. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Prepares detailed specifications for programs. Provides support in the design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of new software and enhancements of existing applications. Works with project managers, developers, and end users to ensure application designs meet business requirements. Formulates/defines specifications for complex operating software programming applications or modifies / maintains complex existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturer. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents programs. Provides overall operating system, such as sophisticated file maintenance routines, large telecommunications networks, computer accounting, and advanced mathematical/scientific software packages. Supports all phases of software systems programming applications. Evaluates new and existing software products.

Five (5) years’ experience. Supported DoD or Federal Oracle shared service providers on an Oracle EBS R12.2 platform or higher.
• Security Clearance: Secret
o Access Level: IT-2
o Sensitivity Level: Secret/Non-critical Sensitive
o Type of Investigation: Current Tier 3 (T3) or National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) at time of proposal submission.
• DoD 8570.01-M Certification: N/A
Exception: If the employee ever requires any Privileged system access, then DOD 8570.01-M, IA & CE certifications are required.
o IA Technical (IAT)/IA Management (IAM) Level: IAT Level II
o IA Baseline Certification: Attachment_3_DOD 8570 Approved Baseline Certifications_Full_20210526
o CE/OS Certificate: Attachment_4_DLA Approved CS CE List_v28_20230221. Certification must be applicable to the Oracle based DAI Application Environment
o Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $50,800.00 - $108,300.00.
