Job Title: Key Account Manager, (Haematology)
Location: Malaysia, Selangor
About the role:

- Establish Takeda's Haematology portfolio in the hospitals.
- Increase Healthcare professionals’ awareness on Takeda's haematology portfolio by providing scientific information and CME support (for prospective and existing customers)
- Execute marketing strategies to reach company objectives
- Support business development initiatives for Haematology portfolio
How you will contribute:
Sales
- Management of key account customers in Haematology (public and private key accounts).
- Identify key accounts’ business potential and work with marketing and medical function to grow the sales in the key accounts.
- Drive new product listing in key accounts and ensure close follow up to ensure successful listing in a timely manner.
- Support business manager to execute marketing activities at the assigned key accounts.
- Build strong rapport with key account customers and the relevant stakeholders to ensure successful execution of sales and marketing activities.
- Responsible for effective planning and execution of sales engagement activities to engage the stakeholders.
- Conduct continuous medical education (CME), round table discussion, or group product presentation and others promotion activities.
- Familiarize and assist customers with the ordering and purchasing to ensure on-time delivery of products.
- Familiarize with clinical knowledge of the relevant therapeutic disease areas, Takeda products and its competitors to ensure effective communication and discussion with customers.
- Provide regular and timely market information to add value into marketing plans to gain competitive advantage.
- Collaborate with third party agent in managing Takeda Patient Assistance Program (PAP) and Market Access Scheme (MAS) to ensure a seamless process and ensure customers feedback are heard for continuous patient’s access improvement (if applicable)
What you bring to Takeda:
- Degree in sciences is required, preferably strong in scientific background.
- At least 5 years of sales experience in pharmaceutical industry, particularly specialty care sales experience. Experience with haematology products is an added advantage.
- Experience in product listing in hospital is preferred.
- Experience in handling specialists and key stakeholders in both Private and Government hospitals is required.
- Strong negotiation and business partnering skills with ability to manage and negotiate with key decision makers in the hospitals.
- Strong in planning and execution of sales and marketing plans in the assigned key accounts and its other outlets.
- Customer focus and ability to build effective customer relationship.
- Team player and strong leadership skills.
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
- Highly dependable and able to work independently.
- Versatile and resilient, ability to stay positive in pressure environment and work towards delivering results and driven.
- Travelling for fieldwork and to attend various meetings is required as part of this role.
