What you’ll do

During the 24-36 months program, trainees will rotate though critical functional areas – including sales, marketing, medical affairs, etc. – gaining first-hand experience under the mentorship of experienced leaders. Trainees will participate in classroom and field-based training, become proficient in AstraZeneca’s portfolio, and drive commercial excellence in the market.

As part of Management Trainee Program, you will contribute to shaping AstraZeneca’s strategy aimed at delivering medical breakthroughs that transform patients’ lives.

By gaining an understanding of the work environment within a pharmaceutical company and the healthcare landscape in Hong Kong, you will build valuable knowledge and professional networks through direct engagement with healthcare professionals. Your involvement may include participating in field activities, leading go-to-market initiatives with both internal teams and external partners, as well as working on internal projects throughout the program.

Through immersive experiences at various training, you will rotate in different roles to gain diverse experience and skillset which is critical to your future success. You will be nurtured in a culture that embodies AstraZeneca’s commitment to push the boundaries of science to deliver life-changing medicines to the patient.

Alongside, you will enhance your professional expertise along with critical skills such as interpersonal communication and time management by managing projects across multiple channels.

Essential for the role

• Master Degree or above university students in any disciplines, or recent undergraduate graduate with less than two years of working experience
• Excellent communication & presentation skills with high proficiency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua
• Growth mindset and result oriented
• Agile and macro-mind thinking
• A team-player with high versatility
• Good analytical skills
• Innovative and eager to learn
