Meet the Team

Cisco Firewall Management team develops, management solutions to next-generation firewall to secure our customers from a wide range of network security features and network security threats. We evolved in security and have already launched firewall products that are changing the way our customers protect themselves and their users

Your Impact

• Participate as a technical contributor on a fast-paced project team of engineers involved in the development of SaaS security products.
• Continuously evolve cloud infrastructure, making it more resilient, scalable and secure.
• Aggressively automate all manual procedures.
• Research and recommend technologies to help further product goals.
• Create innovative solutions for complex technical problems.
• Respond to and resolve infrastructure related escalations.
• Lead and participate in on-call rotation, rotated through engineering team.
• Contribute to software development and testing.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science with overall 8+ years’ experience
• Experience in optimizing cost in AWS cloud
• Experience running production software in AWS at scale
• Experience with SaaS deployment and upgrade automation
• Experience with Python/Java, shell scripting or equivalent
• Experience in tools automation and hosting in a private or a public cloud (like AWS)
• Deep understanding of GitHub and other Git based SCMs
• Proficiency in Jenkins Pipelines and integration of Jenkins with other tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Infrastructure automation tools experience with Terraform and Cloud Formation
• Continuously assess and improve security posture, implement effective security monitoring systems, collaborate on security controls reporting automation Automated application of configuration changes across multi-use environments (dev, test, staging, prod, etc.) Experience developing safe deployment procedure of new product changes across multiple environments
• Ability to build SaaS monitoring solutions that detect and automatically remediate system faults
• Knowledge of setting up, configuring, maintaining and evolving a continuous delivery environment using CI tools such as Jenkins/TeamCity/Bamboo/etc.
• SaaS operations experience with maintenance, system security, escalations & triage
• Debugging and troubleshooting experience in a distributed environment
• History of implementing enterprise security tools - SIEM, IDS/IPS, FIM, PAM
• 5+ years of DevOps experience
