CGI offers a unique opportunity for students passionate about quality assurance and test automation to apply their knowledge in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development, execution, and optimization of automated tests while gaining hands-on experience in programming and modern QA methodologies.
This internship will allow you to work directly with QA and automation experts, learn best practices, and actively contribute to the quality of solutions delivered to our clients.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

On a day-to-day basis, you will:
• Participate in team meetings (scrums, reviews, planning) and contribute to discussions;
• Design, develop, and execute automated tests using Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript;
• Explore and leverage testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.);
• Contribute to feature validation by combining manual and automated testing;
• Collaborate with developers and experienced QA analysts to learn and share knowledge;
• Assess the feasibility of automating specific test cases;
• Document your results and support continuous improvement of QA processes.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

We are looking for a student who:
• Has a solid foundation in object-oriented and/or functional programming (Java, JavaScript, TypeScript);
• Is familiar with automation concepts and eager to strengthen their skills in this area;
• Has an interest in working with frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright;
• Is curious, motivated, and persistent when solving problems;
• Demonstrates strong teamwork and communication skills;
• Is eager to learn, get involved, and contribute to real-world projects.
Knowledge of JIRA, Git, or other collaborative tools is an asset.
