What you’ll achieve

As a Marketing Data Engineering Intern, you'll work within a global team and collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners and product specialists in an Agile environment with focus on support and development of Customer Data Engagement platform (CEP).

You will:

• Validate data from various database sources, investigate issues with data, ensure data quality
• Participate in communication with end users and business teams to define data requirements and specifications and identify user issues
• Have responsibility for assigned CEP products as product specialist; understand E2E process, strive for process automation; provide user interfaces for end users, improve the efficiency of our codebase and its maintenance
• Implement new enhancements into production environment, review and implement test strategies for CEP products and related database processes
• Understand key marketing vehicles and terminology

Essential Requirements:

• Daily student at Slovak University focused on Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics
• Expected graduation in 2026
• 1 year of experience in data analysis, data science, machine learning or statistics
• Excellent practical knowledge of Relational databases and SQL / PostgreSQL
• Experience working with Python in the context of Automation, Data Analysis, Data Exploration, Web Scraping and/or Machine Learning

Desirable Requirements:

• Knowledge of scheduling systems (e.g. Airflow, Control-M) and Git, or other version control systems, is a plus
• Experience with dashboards creation (PowerBI / Tableau reporting), C# or Java, Gen AI and LLM, Kubernetes, Docker, Functions, elastic compute, enterprise-scale platforms, parallelized workloads, real-time data streams, open source frameworks

Starting Salary: 7.10 eur brutto /hour
