    UW Medical Center-Montlake – OB/GYN and Primary Care Clinic has an outstanding opportunity for a Primary Care Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) . The Advanced Practice Provider will primarily work with patients receiving internal medicine care.
    WORK SCHEDULE
  • Advanced Practice Providers can work 32-40 hours a week – additional details will be provided in the interview
  • Advanced Practice Providers work Monday-Friday between 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Our clinic is closed on nights, weekends, and holidays
    DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
    Our OB/GYN and Primary Care Clinic provides primary care and specialized care for a wide breath of gynecology & obstetrics needs. We provide routine and complex family planning, treatment for dysplasia and HPV, gynecologic surgery consultations, and gynecology services. This is a great opportunity to join a team that always puts their patients first.
    Our clinic is located at our Roosevelt Medical Center, in the University District of Seattle.
    PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • With keen attention to the specific needs of patients, delivers excellent care with compassion and sound medical knowledge
  • Provides timely initial assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and follow-ups
  • Coordinates and monitors patients’ status, including longitudinal care and follow-up, in conjunction with attending physicians, social workers, and providers
  • Responds to patients’ healthcare needs, providing triage, urgent care, and interventions as necessary
  • Participates in appropriate interdisciplinary team meetings and rounds. Serves as a resource for staff
  • Participates as a key member of the interdisciplinary team through the development of collaborative and innovative practices and evaluation of patient care outcomes
  • Provides patient care independently and collaboratively with appropriate privileges
    REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
  • Training or recent experience in the provision of primary care services, including initial assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and management of patients
  • Nationally certified ARNP/PA-C with DEA
  • Proven excellence working in an interdisciplinary collaborative team environment
  • Effective interpersonal skills, leadership skills, and clinical expertise in patient care
  • Current and valid Washington State ARNP Licensure or Physician Assistant License
  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program or graduation from an accredited PA program
